Re: Kold Sweat Records[edit]

Re your message: I think the article established enough notability to not qualify to be speedy deleted, if that is what you are asking. I recommend incorporating the external links as references instead of leaving them as external links as that would help towards notability. Just out of curiosity, how did you find me to ask me about the article? I don't recall us crossing paths before. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 04:41, 2 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there Gogo, you seem like a fair chap :), I got your details from the records of the last deletion of this page in 2009. You deleted it based on something from another article written from someone I do not know, but your name was there as an admin. Therefore I thought I'd rewrite the document, research and re post. Thanks again for your help. JonS (talk) 06:53, 2 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Ah, okay. I didn't notice that I had deleted the article long ago. Thanks for clearing that up. =) -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 19:50, 2 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Your welcome..Have a grand day :) JonS (talk) 17:16, 3 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello John shaftman. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "Soul Garden".

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Soul Garden}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, click "Save page", and an administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. JMHamo (talk) 17:02, 2 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

File:MARK-NEO-DAWN.jpg[edit]

Hello. I have deleted this image because Wikipedia does not accept licences for image uploads like "Wikipedia only". What we need are free licences that include the opportunity to make derivatives of the file and use it commercially. These include the Creative Commons CC-by licence and GNU Free Documentation License. If you have permission from a photographer to use their image only on Wikipedia, I'm afraid that is not sufficient to keep the photo. However, if the photographer agrees to release his work under a free licence, please ask him to write an email as outlined in WP:CONSENT. De728631 (talk) 17:24, 1 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, Thank you for your message, I have since forwarded correspondence from the source. Let me know if all is ok or if i need to re-submit the image..Thanks 17:42, 1 December 2014 (UTC)

Thank you for forwarding the email with the letter of permission. I have now sent that to Wikimedia Commons for evaluation. Please note though that the letter of permission refers to a specific licence {{Cc-by-4.0}} while the online statement at http://www.blakprophetz.com/wiki-authorize.asp states it is free to use for anyone without specific restrictions like attribution etc. that would come with a Creative Commons licence. So it would probably be helpful if you could clarify this with the Blak Prophetz people. They are welcome to email permissions-commons@wikimedia.org for details or a new statement. As the file is now being hosted by the Commons, it has also become the responsibility of the administrators at Commons to verify the licence, but I have no administrative rights over there. File permission problem with File:BLAK PROPHETZ.JPG[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:BLAK PROPHETZ.JPG. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.  ★  Bigr Tex 22:40, 3 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi MrBigrTex, We've just sent an email to permissions, Let us know if there's anything else you need us to do. Validation was verified 13-Aug-2013 Please see - https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Blak_Prophetz_Photo.jpg JonS (talk) 15:06, 23 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hello there. I can't read your email but I have temporarily restored the file. The voluntary permission team will now check your email and then decide whether the file can be kept. I don't see any problems though because you have already released the original photo into the public domain. De728631 (talk) 18:34, 23 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Deletion pending for File:BLAK PROPHETZ.JPG[edit]

Hello, John shaftman. Some time ago, a file you uploaded — File:BLAK PROPHETZ.JPG — was tagged with {{OTRS pending}}, indicating that you (or perhaps the copyright holder if you did not create this image) submitted a statement of permission to permissions-en@wikimedia.org. Though there is often a backlog processing messages received at this address, we should have received your message by now.

  • If you have not submitted (or forwarded) a statement of permission, please send it immediately to permissions-en@wikimedia.org and let us know at the OTRS noticeboard that you have done so.
  • If you have already sent this message, it is possible that there was a problem receiving it. Please re-send it to permissions-en@wikimedia.org and let us know at the OTRS noticeboard that you have done so.

If we don't hear from you within one week, the file will be deleted. If we can help you, please feel free to ask at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 14:48, 17 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I am a legitimate contributor to Wikipedia. You will find that from my track record. Please at least consider if there were any misuse of my account or spamming or anything abusive. I get the impression that this seems a little over the top. I'm happy to co-operate to resolve this issue if you will allow me to.

Decline reason:

You haven't addressed your apparent violation of WP:SOCK, WP:PAID, WP:PROMO, and WP:COI policies. Yamla (talk) 17:42, 21 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
