Mentioning WP:ITSACASTLE[edit]

I feel like the WP:ITSACASTLE doctrine would be worth a mention in discussing the notability of archaeological formerly inhabited sites. For gosh sakes—it's an ancient ruin! Tyrone Madera (talk) 15:34, 4 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the suggestion – I didn't know about that essay, it's a good one. I've put it in a see also section for now and will look for an opportunity to work it into the text. – Joe (talk) 08:00, 5 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Archaeogenetics[edit]

I have taken a first shot at it. What do you think? (I might split some of it out to a general guideline for archaeogenetic articles, so we can focus on the archaeological aspect here. But that's another story.) Austronesier (talk) 19:49, 6 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
