redirects and afds[edit]

Hello Joe, I'm Airplaneman. I saw that you redirected Stereo Love (album) to Edward Maya. Since the AFD discussion is still ongoing, that is inadvisable. I have undone your edit until the completion of the AFD, when the closing administrator will decide the article's fate based on the discussion. That is why there is a notice at the very top of the article stating "Please do not remove or change this AfD message until the issue is settled". Regards, Airplaneman Review? 19:54, 15 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Your name has been mentioned in connection with a sockpuppetry case. Please refer to Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Greenock125 for evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to cases before editing the evidence page. Fiftytwo thirty (talk) 15:07, 19 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Please unlock me I am not a Sock puppet of Greenock125, I promise cut down on editing and not to do so much as I have done

Decline reason:

The threat below to "if I am not unblocked I will create another account" is a direct threat to violate WP:SOCK via WP:EVADE. Such a threat is a direct trip to an indefinite block. (talk→ BWilkins ←track) 16:13, 19 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

I am so upset that all my articles that I created and worked hard on was a waste of time. Joe692 (talk) 15:52, 19 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Pianotech please can you give me one final chance, I am really upset that all my hard work has gone to waste, I promise to be a more constructive editor. Joe692 (talk) 15:56, 19 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

If I am not unblocked I will create another account. Joe692 (talk) 16:04, 19 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I will agree to any deal and condition to get unblocked. Joe692 (talk) 16:06, 19 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Many "last chances" given over and over, particularly with this sock and this sock. - eo (talk) 16:43, 19 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Deal[edit]

I promise If I am unblocked I will not create another account, please listen to me. --Joe692 (talk) 16:17, 19 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Non admin comment That makes it sound like you will create another account if you are not unblocked. In general, threats do not get you very far. If you are serious about being unblocked, you need to start listening to what people are saying, and stop trying to impose your own version of the rules. Take some time off, and stay away from Wikipedia. When you come back, send an e-mail to User:TFOWR asking them to allow you to edit your userpage on your original account. Once that is done, ask to be unblocked by explaining exactly what you did to be blocked along with why you cannot do it, and why you created sockpuppets along with why it was wrong of you to do. If you do that, chances are you will be unblocked (assuming you have waited a good length of time.
The reason why we ask you to wait is to show that you are willing and able to abide by the community. This is a collaborative site, and if you are not willing to follow basic rules and requests, then you will not be able to edit here. By staying away after asked, you can show that you can listen to others, and they might be willing to give you a chance. If you continue to demand and sockpuppet though, chances are you will be banned, which makes it far less likely that you can ever be unblocked. Sodam Yat (talk) 16:55, 19 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I am going to take 8 weeks off the think about everything you have said after that I will e-mail User:TFOWR and asking them to allow me to edit my userpage on your original account Greenock125. In the future I will listen to what people are saying, stop dong very quick edits and only do 5-10 edits a day. I now understand why I have to wait. I have really learned my lesson and hope to get another chance. I have one final thing to say, I was really angry that some of the articles I created were deleted (Electro Soukouss, Greatest Hits (Skepta album), Microphone Champion, Rolex Sweep, Sunglasses At Night, Too Many Man, Lush (song), Jessy Matador discography, Gangsta? and In My System) I worked very hard on them it felt like I wasted my time on them I was totally devastated. When I am unblocked I will listen to any advice. --Joe692 (talk) 17:11, 19 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
