Speedy deletion nomination of AMIOT, MATHIEU[edit]

A tag has been placed on AMIOT, MATHIEU requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from http://www.biographi.ca/en/bio/amiot_mathieu_1E.html. May I enquire what is your purpose for showing this link? It clearly indicates that content in the Dictionary of Canadian Biography may NOT be used on Wikipedia because it is not provided free for commercial use, which is something we require here. Editing pedigree tree[edit]

This help request has been answered. If you need more help, you can ask another question on your talk page, contact the responding user(s) directly on their user talk page, or consider visiting the Teahouse.

I am trying to edit the pedigree tree to reduce the space between records. Rather than the records being close together like those that continue on the ones that don't have unwanted space present. Jlastowski (talk) 22:13, 8 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Can I assume you're talking about the template {{Ahnentafel}} as used on Georges de La Trémoille?

The spacing is governed by the deepest level present in the data; what the template expects is that you fill out the ancestry tree to the same depth throughout.

The implementation of the template is via Module:Ahnentafel and my cursory examination of the source does not reveal any way for you to adjust the spacing. I'm won't go as far as saying it's impossible, just that it looks like it would require a high degree of wizardry to do it. — jmcgnh^{(talk) (contribs)} 06:28, 9 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

First submition[edit]

Hello, I submitted my first page 4 months ago without having it reviewed so I made the necessary changes and have been waiting for someone to review the article for acceptance. I would hate to submit again and have it rejected again seeing as I have stripped it of most of the original content and left it with just the facts. I am hoping someone could review https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Mathieu_Amiot and offer feedback or if possible move the article to acceptance.
