this is the 3rd time i'm asking you to stop adding nonsense to my talk page, you are now vandalizing my talk page, so stop, consider this my last warning // laughing man 05:05, 21 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Well, you bought this on yourself for vandalizing a talk page. Cheers, JetLover (talk) 05:09, 21 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Whatever your opinion is fine, your message is clear. Perhaps you should consider updating your talk page header, as you state "...IF YOU DO NOT FOLLOW THESE RULES, I WILL REMOVE IT." Well, I have my own rules for how I maintain my talk page, and you reverting my edits to my talk page is out of line, and borderline vandalism in itself. // laughing man 05:13, 21 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I'm beyond assuming good faith with you, what do you think you are going to accomplish? I'm going not going to waste any more of time on this nonsense, as you have already wasted my limited time to contribute here on Wikipedia I had available.
Please, take this opportunity to cool down and read about some Wikipedia guidelines that you really don't seem to be aware of. Wikipedia:User_page#Removal_of_warnings // laughing man 05:21, 21 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

prop joe edits[edit]

i dont think my edits qualify as vandalism.. i simply removed all mention of him as fictional for about 3 seconds linked my brother to the page and then reverted it back to the way it had been previously. i think this pretty harmless and doesnt warrant a write up about vandalism in my talk page. it is good to see you are so vigilant but i hope you can see the clear difference between trying to harm wikipedia by trying to slip by offensive edits.. then in using its feature for a split second to pull my brother's leg.

aside from that no complaints.... i dont know if you are in contact with other admins but on pages that don't have alot of verified points.. it seems like admin bias runs rampant on what can and can't be included, especially on band/musician/celebrity pages with unverified points that fit a mod's preconception or desire being allowed to stay in while others, many which can be verified in books but not on line, are written off as original research/uncited. i don't know how it works with the admins, if this is something you can put up for discussion, or if its just a waste of time —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 67.55.19.205 (talk) 03:44, August 24, 2007 (UTC)

MascotGuy report to WP:AIV[edit]

While I'm familiar with MascotGuy, and have no doubt that's him, remember not everyone is. You may wish to link to the abuse report in the text of any report to AIV so that whoever reviews it can check if it's a clear enough sock to block immediately. Also, while I'm sure you're trying to be helpful, please don't place the confirmed sockpuppet tag (the one that states the user is blocked indef) until the user actually is blocked, as this can be confusing to people. (If you want to put a suspected sock tag, that's fine, but if it's going to AIV it's going to happen enough that's probably unnecessary.) Just a couple suggestions, and in no way to disparage your work chasing down vandal socks, keep up the good work! Seraphimblade Talk to me 05:44, 29 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hiya, thanks for the message. I'm aware that I deleted Cluebot's warning, and I did do so deliberately, rather than accidentally - given the nature of the edits concerned (pure vandalism on the initial edits of an IP user) I thought it was relatively reasonable to not assume good faith, and to assume that the edit was therefore vandalism. I didn't think it would be appropriate to leave Cluebot's warning in place afterwards, as it would undermine the seriousness of the warning that I was placing. If that's the wrong way of doing things, then so be it, and I apologise. Giles Bennett (Talk, Contribs) 22:27, 5 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Re: 65.94.216.47[edit]

It's pretty bad, yes, but it's a DSL IP address, so it may or may not be dynamic. I'm usually wary of giving longish blocks to those IPs as a first recourse. If the user comes back with the same vitriol tomorrow, we can assume that the IP address is relatively stable and can revisit the idea of a longer block at that time. But maybe the user will have become bored by that time. — TKD::Talk 22:18, 12 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for filing an abuse report. However, it's been rejected as there was only one new IP on your list that hasn't already reported to AT&T. Let's give them a few days to take action, and if the abuse continues past say today or tomorrow, then either file a new report or an addition to your current report (if you do that, remove the {{ARA}} template I added and re-list it on the main page) with some new IPs or a note that the ones already listed have re-vandalized. --Darkwind (talk) 03:52, 13 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Why did you feel this was non-constructive? By directing the search for "Operation Avalanche" to the Allied invasion of Italy page, you've made the search for other uses of the term impossible.

Nevermind, I see what you did. The comment above still applies, but it's been handled differently now. 67.172.101.18 21:43, 16 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I fear that 216.70.xxx.xxx may be provoked in to an edit/revert war on circulator. Maybe we could hammer out a compromise on the talk page? --catslash 16:25, 17 September 2007 (UTC) Apologies: I now see that the last revert wasn't by you, but to your last version. Sorry. --catslash 19:42, 17 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry[edit]

Sorry, I'm using WP:TW and it keeps sending out the message before I can cancel. It doesn't stop when it detects that a tag has already been placed. Laaabaseball 22:10, 17 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
