Sorry[edit]

I realise my actions were stupid, and although probally don't deserve it, I would be very grateful if you could remove my block. I promise this will not happen again. 86.20.39.188 10:25, 24 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Um, no...[edit]

Call if vandalism if you'd like, but the shit I've edited was for a reason. The SEED Movie page in particular is of a noteworthy point. There is no information on the SEED Club website to back up the claim for the movie, and the scan From Gundam ACE does not constitute sufficent information to back up speculation. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.49.151.44 (talkcontribs)

Hey JetLover,

I came on tonight to find a have a warning. Can you please explain what I did wrong last night? What ever I must have done was done innocently and now I'm afraid of doing anything.

I've joined to learn and eventually contribute not to disrupt.

Usana Article[edit]

Hello JetLover,

I'm the user who posted most of the information which seems to be causing a "delete/undelete" war over on the Usana page. I wanted to make sure that I, myself, have not posted improperlly and ask whether or not I will be able to continue to make updates if the page is placed under full-protection as you have requested. I'm cutting my teeth on this article, but I've attempted to post no information which does not come from a trustworthy source.

Thank you.

clearing message page[edit]

Hi, I have no interest in engaging in a discussion, and have no problem with any alterations being reverted or deleted. I have to confess that on occasion I have made comments due to annoyance at the tone of the entry or against the subject. I just want to get rid of the orange bar on the screen and messages. How do I do that?

It really isn't. If they linked to actual criticism of the show, then maybe I could buy it, but its really just information that may be interpreted as criticism. If you have to leave up that two paragraph tv-show review, then I guess that's fine, but its the only statement that even comes close to being valid criticism of the show.

Re:How'd you like to be an admin?[edit]

Wow, thanks for your vote of confidence! Unfortunately, I don't think that I'd be accepted as an admin right now, since I only make anti-vandalism edits to articles. I have a high edit count, but that's pretty much the only thing in my favour. And besides, with WP:AIV and WP:RFP, I can get vandals blocked and pages protected with only a short delay. :-)

Thanks again, though; I know that if I ever decide to make that leap, I will have your support. :-) ... discospinster talk 15:43, 25 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Heyho, I made some small changes regarding my entry. Can you please have a quick look over it and tell me if it is ok now.

Cheers!

Hey!

I added the company where I'm actually employed to Wikipedia. I tried that yesterday and, I admit, the way I wrote it was some kind of advertisement. It was deleted...

Today I tried it again, but I added just information about the company and tried to remove everything what is or sounds like advertising. Our "Mother" company (Management Consulting Group) is in Wikipedia as well and I just "completed" the infos about this company respectively its subsidiaries.

So, I'm sorry for wasting your time but, what shall I do/ change to make it more "informational".

Cheers! Martin

My article was about "Salzer Consulting"...

SalzerMartin 02:46, 2 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I had blocked this addy for 24hours per the AIV report - only one edit but most certainly a vandalism orientated editor - to stop any further abuses, I then noted you had removed the report. I would certainly entertain a shorter tariff (15 minutes?) if you think my first reaction too vigerous. LessHeard vanU 22:56, 3 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hey there,

Sorry that I have to keep reverting your edits. I know you're making an honest effort here and please understand that I'm acting in good faith as well. I'm pretty sure that the it's true that the reason the door is open is because Carey Lowell bailed out at the end. In fact, I was the guy who added that tidbit to the article in the first place. But when I added it, I was actually somewhat guessing that that is what the reason was, which is why I added the [citation needed] tag to it, so that somebody would verify it. You're making an effort to do that, but I figure that, if we get a source, it ought to be a reliable source per Wikipedia's guidelines. For all we know, somebody may have guessed the way I did when they added the tidbit to IMDb and then the other website might have simply copied IMDb. Who knows? That's why I'm urging you to get a source from maybe the filmmakers or something like that.

Thanks for understanding.

Please don't add the film actor templates to dozens of film articles. There is a strong precedent for deleting such templates as they create unnecessary clutter. Just wanted to say thanks for the adoption. However, I am only a casual editor of wiki, so I may not send messages often. Also I don’t know much about editing other than from what I copied from other pages. But I do have some short questions for you:

For the distribution of images, like that from text books, is the editor/creator of that page be responsible in obtaining the rights/permission for distribution?

Who is responsible for the peer review of the article? And can I request one of my articles to be reviewed? (i.e. grammatical mistakes, neutrality, etc.)

Thanks again fo rthe adoption!!!

Thanks for your comment about my report. I suspected that my report was too long and probably not in quite the right format but I thought that this case needed extra attention. Had it been ordinary vandalism I would not have even reported it. When I saw a long history of warnings on his talk page, and saw bad reverts on lots of articles, I began to worry about all of his other edits. You accumulated 70 total articles reviewed in the last month! Great job, and thanks for your help! I will DEFINITELY be planning another drive sometime in the future, so keep posted and keep reviewing! GrooveDog (talk) (Review) 13:07, 16 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'll be there! Cheers, JetLover (talk) 21:07, 16 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi[edit]

You did not even provide a reason to oppose. 53180 03:34, 17 August 2007 (UTC)53180.[reply]

Sorry, I've blanked it a few times before.

Question about Vanilla2[edit]

Is it against polcy to suggest to some one to let them sign in as them for 60 seconds to fix their signature? I was thinking about doing that for Vanilla2 but I wanted to make sure it's not against policy first.--Hornetman16 (talk) 19:26, 17 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

We've tried that it's not working. S/he's really desparate for help. The passsword can be erased from the talk page afterwords. I just want to help poor Vanilla2. I have no other reason to invade Wikipedia as Vinilla 2 except long enough to fix his/her sig.--Hornetman16 (talk) 21:44, 17 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Balls4balls[edit]

You should not list a username at WP:UAA repeatedly in the hope of a different result. Please see WP:RFCN. SamBC(talk) 22:43, 17 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I would say the same. The term can mean other things as well. It's best if we send it to WP:RFCN since it's so close to blatant that we need a more focused discussion. --wL<speak·check> 22:59, 17 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

RFCU[edit]

The reason the prior SSP "did not work" is because you did not provide any diffs as evidence of behavior - you didn't give anyone anything to be able to prove your case, and you have the same problem at RFCU. The CUs can't do anything without a reason to do it, and you haven't shown that -- you're just referring people to an SSP page that has nothing of evidentiary value on it. Therefore, please submit diffs that show evidence of behavior on your CU request here. MSJapan 00:48, 18 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Then you're going to need to recreate it from scratch. MSJapan 06:03, 18 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

User talk:53180[edit]

You left a comment on this users page askin him if he was Oldwindybear. I have heard the story, and even pasted it on my page (the article from the Wikipedia Signpost.) It may not be my buissness, but what made you think that?

Thanks,
