COINTELPRO[edit]

The "Conflict with COINTELPRO" section within the "Black Panther Party" page has some issues. The article does talk about one specific memo, then considers initial targets that predate that memo. In addition the image shows a 1970 memo regarding Jean Seberg. This individual is not discussed in the section, and ought to be. Seberg is one of the most notable targets of COINTELPRO. Her victimization was noted as a well-documented (in order to be exploited) counteraction for her support of civil rights groups (chiefly the Black Panthers) in the 1960s. The section, from what I have read also lacks information regarding the deaths of Fred Hampton and Elmer Pratt. These are two very important Panther members and their connection to the FBI/COINTELPRO is controversial. Jekuhn1 (talk) 21:04, 14 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

History of Wisconsin[edit]

This section is incredibly short, and shows little to no historical information beyond 1900. Under a list of historical places, one can add Little Bohemia Lodge for it was a highly notable failed attempt at the FBI capture of John Dillinger. This event was a shootout that had been caused by both Bureau agents and gang members being spooked, and ended in the escaping of numerous gang members, including Dillinger himself. The lodge, located in Manitowish Waters, remains standing, with its walls still containing bullets holes. History of American Gang Violence stands in this lodge, and it should be noted within the article on the history of the state of Wisconsin. Jekuhn1 (talk) 21:26, 14 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
