Welcome!

Hello, Jdavie, and welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, like Egopy, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines for page creation, and may soon be deleted.

You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles. See the Article Wizard.

Thank you.

There's a page about creating articles you may want to read called Your first article. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on this page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. Speedy deletion nomination of Egopy[edit]

Please refrain from introducing inappropriate pages, such as Egopy, to Wikipedia. Doing so is not in accordance with our policies. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. September 2009[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. The recent edit you made to the page Rock and roll has been reverted, as it appears to be unconstructive. Use the sandbox for testing; if you believe the edit was constructive, please ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing. Thank you.  Ronhjones  (Talk) 22:07, 9 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please refrain from introducing inappropriate pages, such as Flimibuff, to Wikipedia. Doing so is not in accordance with our policies. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion," which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Dear Singularity42, Flimibuff is real. If you do not believe me, you can call Commander Burggraaff yourself. I am very angry that you have deleted my page, as my classmates would have greatly appreciate it. If I was to get the word out about Flimibuff, I might get Extra credit (I included the link in case you didn't know what it was). Please, for my sake, keep the page up Best Regards, Jdavie

Vandalism[edit]

If you had troubled to look properly, you would have seen that your article Flimibuff was deleted by me, not by the editor whom you have been harassing.

This is an encyclopedia, not a social networking site, and we only retain articles which are factual, sensible, verifiable, referenced as appropriate and encyclopedically notable. Your article is arguably none of these, and certainly is not all of them. It is not going to be restored.

Harassing an editor is regarded as disruptive editing, and if persistent will inevitably lead to your being prevented from editing here; please consider this your only warning. --Anthony Bradbury"talk" 15:59, 23 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

September 2011[edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, but at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Science, did not appear to be constructive and has been automatically reverted (undone) by ClueBot NG.

  • Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Note that human editors do monitor recent changes to Wikipedia articles, and administrators have the ability to block users from editing if they repeatedly engage in vandalism.
  • ClueBot NG produces very few false positives, but it does happen. If you believe the change you made should not have been detected as unconstructive, please read about it, report it here, remove this warning from your talk page, and then make the edit again.
  • The following is the log entry regarding this warning: Science was changed by Jdavie (u) (t) ANN scored at 0.966841 on 2011-09-08T12:53:17+00:00 . Thank you. ClueBot NG (talk) 12:53, 8 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

As it has become apparent that your account will be used solely for unconstructive editing, you have been indefinitely blocked from editing in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy. If you believe this block is unjustified you may contest it by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} to this page. Kuru (talk) 21:45, 8 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
