Managing a conflict of interest

Hello, Jdaughtry55. Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to Richard Turner (magician). While objective prose about beliefs, organisations, people, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. I am Richard's Publisher, please let me know what the exact difference is between portraying objective facts and subjective advertising, am on here mostly changing false information being advertised about Richard on this wiki page. Like working at Marie Calendar and a host of other facts about Richard that are not true. Due to the shear amount of false information y'all have on your site advertising about Richard Turner, I have been asked be Richard himself to take down and update his page on his behalf. Hi Jdaughtry55. You weren't just removing information from the article - you added promotional material such as "skills are unparalleled ... global celebrity ... frenetically fascinating", trivia such as who Turner's best man was, and external links. This is not in line with Wikipedia's policies. You have a conflict of interest with the article so should not edit it directly. You can propose edits on the article's Talk page - please read the links already posted above about conflict of interest.
