Hi Jake, quick additional info: I noticed that you briefly tried to @ me similar to how this is done on most social media platforms. You were correct in recognizing that this functionality is not supported on Wikipedia, however, there is a method that lets you achieve the same result and will send the person you're replying to a notification—Template:Reply to.
