3RR warning[edit]

Hi, be aware that you've reverted the article 3 times, the max allowed. See here - WP:3RR. I've asked that you move the article first to "Iron Age of the British Isles", and then make your edits. Otherwise the article is in an inconsistent state - with the heading calling it "British Iron Age", and the content clearly widened in scope to more than just British. The panel on the right is fine, as this article belongs to a wider collection of articles relating to the history of the British Isles. Do not revert again or you will be blocked from editing. I am about to revert back to a consistent state, and I advise you to start by moving the article, then make your changes. Also, I see you're a fairly new editor - there are a lot of policies that you will become familiar with over time. WP:Bold, revert, discuss cycle is a good way to deal with edit conflicts. Most editors are trying, like you, to make articles better. Please Assume Good Faith when dealing with other editors. Thank you. --Bardcom (talk) 17:43, 10 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

How can you say that! I have edited the page and then replaced your edits but twice. It is you who have reverted it three times now. Anyway, have it your own way. Please move it if you want to. I'm going to edit something else later. Please do not follow me! Irisjones (talk) 17:52, 10 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Rather than get off on the wrong foot, how about I help you with the article instead? I'll move the article and contribute some more, if you write up a short section on the Iron Age in Ireland? And BTW, you are absolutely correct! You have not reverted 3 times, please accept my apologies. You may, if you like, revert *my* recent revert - but I'd prefer if you accept the point I make about keeping the article consistent. But if you revert, I won't be able to change it back. Please, don't be put off what seems like a big bad bully stopping you from contributing either. Everybody is equal here, and while you might not be familiar with all the policies, don't let it get in the way of you making valuable contributions. I feel badly that you may now believe that Wikipedia is trolled by idiots who can't count - it's a great community, and a worthwhile project. --Bardcom (talk) 18:07, 10 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
