NPP Award for 2019

The New Page Patroller's Barnstar

For over 100 article reviews during 2019. Thank you for patrolling new pages and helping us out with the backlog! -MPGuy2824 (talk) 07:01, 31 August 2022 (UTC)

Here is a barnstar to show appreciation for the NPP reviews you did back in 2019. We realize this is late, but NPP fell behind in some coordination activities. We are almost caught up. If you don't want to receive "old" barnstars, please just ignore this and reply to let us know not to send you any more. Also, we notice you haven't been very active here recently, and hope you will consider increasing your participation. The backlog is relatively high and we could really use your help. Regardless, thanks again for your past effort. -MPGuy2824 (talk) 07:01, 31 August 2022 (UTC)

Hi @MPGuy2824 and thank you so much for the barnstar. I liked NPP when I did it in 2019. Now, in 2022, it is not interesting for me. My focus on Wikipedia is to improving articles as well as the user interface of some of our most viewed non-article pages. I used to revert vandalism a lot back in my early days of Wikipedia, but my focus has leaned towards content creation these days. P.S. I am working on improving the WP:Contents page. If you see a way it can be improved, I would like to hear your feedback at the bottom of the page. If you are not interested in that part of Wikipedia, it's OK. We are all editors with different priorities on Wikipedia. Again, thank you so much for the barnstar and hope NPP goes well for you. Interstellarity (talk) 16:28, 1 September 2022 (UTC)
Interests shift over time, that's understandable. I like the contents page that you linked. Hadn't seen it before. Can't think of anything to improve it, right now. If i think of something, i'll use the feedback link. -MPGuy2824 (talk) 02:34, 2 September 2022 (UTC)

Personal Vital Articles list progress: Society and social sciences

Lists of vital people are very important, but Vital Articles on Wikipedia encompasses many more topics than just that. It's unsatisfactory for a personal Vital Articles list, especially one such as my own which is designed to cover all categories of topics on Wikipedia, to be comprised entirely of biographies, which is why I have decided to focus on other areas of my list as well.

The list is currently incomplete, though most articles considered for inclusion have already been entered into it. Here is the list in its current state: User:SethAllen623/Vital articles/Level/4/Society and social sciences

I can't finish that list at this time. ...Or so I believe! I dare you to prove me wrong! -- Seth Allen (talk) 22:17, September 13, 2022 (UTC).

@SethAllen623: I wish you luck in completing your list! :-) Interstellarity (talk) 22:57, 14 September 2022 (UTC)
I actually finished the list just moments ago. Here it is again, this time in its completed state. How have I done on compiling this list? -- Seth Allen (talk) 00:50, September 20, 2022 (UTC)
@SethAllen623: I think for the most part, you did a fine job on it. One thing that could be improved is on the legal decisions part of the list, I think adding some legal decisions of other countries would make it better to make it less US-centric.
