Copying within Wikipedia requires attribution[edit]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Debagarh into Debagarh district. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. The attribution has been provided for this situation, but if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, please provide attribution for that duplication. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. If you are the sole author of the prose that was copied, attribution is not required. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 14:19, 23 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Notice[edit]

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Problematic editing[edit]

Wikipedia does not care about your personal opinions.[1][2]Srijanx22 (talk) 03:29, 11 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Woah, there's a better way of starting a conversation mate. On this,[3], I made some good faith edits being a long term resident of the area and an old contributor to the page. But, I will add requisite sources and put in the text again.WP:GF On [4], I again did not give any personal opinion. Especially don't appreciate your unilateral move to remove crucial information from the page along with the sources. Will revert them back. Dlease read, WP:GAME.Intellectualyo (talk) 15:27, 11 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Don't use edit summaries for making personal attacks on other editors.[5] There was no "vandalism" in the edits of Teja srinivas.Srijanx22 (talk) 03:29, 11 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

This is a shocker. If you kindly read the summary, you'd find I did not even name Teja, let alone make personal attacks. However, it is incumbent on any good editor to give a well rounded clarification of reverts, and I merely described what he's been repeatedly doing on the page for a long time. Yes, it did constitute 'vandalism', with disruptive editing and multiple changes to data already on the page. Other editors also concurred with me, reverting all of his edits.Intellectualyo (talk) 15:27, 11 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

You need to avoid using unreliable sources like "shethepeople.tv", and read WP:RS.Srijanx22 (talk) 03:29, 11 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Noted. Will remove "shethepeople.tv" and add an approved source.Intellectualyo (talk) 15:27, 11 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Stop edit warring here for creating an article on a non-notable subject. Srijanx22 (talk) 03:29, 11 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I can assure you that it is a very notable subject and satisfies each of the WP:GNG. Although I accept that other users have reverted to the redirect page, I want to hear other's opinions as to why it should not be a full fledged page. As I stated to another user, "This article is reasonably good, with multiple sources on an incident which is not mentioned anywhere else. The Suzette Jordan page is about an individual who was associated with the incident, but there were many layers to it, involving multiple personalities & event, mentioned." Intellectualyo (talk) 15:27, 11 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Continued copyright violations[edit]

@Diannaa: This user has been for copyright violations also by you but his violations are still continuing it. Here are some recent once since your June 2020 warning: [6][7][8][9][10] Srijanx22 (talk) 03:29, 11 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry but I'm not seeing any violations in these edits.— Diannaa (talk) 09:31, 11 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
