Deletion of link in Fiber to the premises by country

Hi InfoCmplx- Why did you delete the link of http://www.bsnl.co.in/service/bb_ftth.htm in the section http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fiber_to_the_premises_by_country#India ? It is a relevant link and provides the reader with more information

Hi 206.47.208.50- the link was unnecessary and falls under http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Spam#External_link_spamming . The sentence already has a mention to BSNL and the interested reader knows all that is needed to know: "BSNL has launched an FTTH service in Jaipur in late 2010"... this is an encyclopedia not a business directory...
