New message from Aloha27[edit]

Hello, Infactinteresting. You have new messages at Aloha27's talk page.
Message added 18:58, 14 December 2022 (UTC). You can remove this notice at any time by removing the {{Talkback}} or {{Tb}} template.[reply]

Thank you for your input. I believe that I can with certainly put a recent death tag on the article seeing as there have been over hundred edits in the past 24 hours. I've only been involved in this project for over 15 years. Regards.   Aloha27  talk  18:58, 14 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

No need to put the names of non-notable children in a biography. Thank you. Drmies (talk) 03:35, 15 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Linking countries[edit]

Please do not link familiar subjects, especially countries with familiarity. We are trying to avoid certain links as per WP:OVERLINK. Jalen Folf (talk) 01:43, 28 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Redlinks in lists[edit]

As already requested (twice) please can you take a look at WP:REDLINK and WP:WRITEITFIRST which explains why we do not use redlinks in lists. Thank you. Dormskirk (talk) 10:34, 28 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

I feel you are wrong

Decline reason:

I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that

  • the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
  • the block is no longer necessary because you
    1. understand what you have been blocked for,
    2. will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
    3. will make useful contributions instead.

Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information. --jpgordon𝄢𝄆𝄐𝄇 13:30, 9 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Not sure why you think you are right blocking. When I show you that you are wrong, will you apologize?Infactinteresting (talk) 13:25, 9 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

That explains it, you're a "deletionist". Well, I wish you weren't here.Infactinteresting (talk) 13:27, 9 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Removing an ANI notice? Which isn't valid? Infactinteresting (talk) 13:30, 9 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Since you (jpgordon et al.) never remove blocks, won't bother appealing. This is wacko. Infactinteresting (talk) 13:32, 9 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I can't remove a notice? Who are you, people? Infactinteresting (talk) 13:33, 9 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
John, care to reply? Infactinteresting (talk) 13:47, 9 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
You are free to remove notices, with the understanding that in doing so, you are acknowledging them. However you are not free to ignore serious concerns raised regarding your editing practices by other editors, while continuing the same problematic behavior. This is a collaborative project and communication in some situations is not optional. Nor do you get to decide unilaterally that you are right and everyone else is wrong in disagreements regarding your editing. Your pattern of editing in combination with your refusal to engage with other editors who have raised issues on that subject, plus your comments above since being blocked are a source of grave concern to me. Frankly, I am not altogether sure you are temperamentally well suited to a project that requires some level of engagement and respect for the broader community's consensus on editing practices. -Ad Orientem (talk) 14:31, 9 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
