October 2016[edit]

Hello, I noticed that you may have recently made edits to Elgin Hotels Pvt Ltd while logged out. Making edits while logged out reveals your IP address, which may allow others to determine your location and identity. Wikipedia's policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow the use of both an account and an IP address by the same person in the same setting. Hello KrakatoaKatie could you let me know why an article about one of the well known hotels in the Himalayas keeps getting me blocked even though this Hotel has enough links from various News Agencies and deserve to be mentioned in Wiki like all other hotels. Even Fortune Magazine has done an article about it way back in 2014.

I have written article of this hotels because i visited the hotel and i thought people should know about this heritage property. and i am not using multiples accounts. i stay in an apartment where other people are using the same Wifi Connection. Hello, I know, me and my roommates tried to get that article on the Wikipedia because we went to that hotel and the hotel has sufficient references. I also edited the article without logging in with. Hi, Hope you are doing well! I am not the paid editor. i was just trying to get the article published. I have edited other articles too. These are the list of other articles i have edited. Apart from this, the hotel that i tried to published has been featured in the Fortune 500 magazine (http://fortuneindia.com/2014/june/the-hotel-industry-s-other-oberoi-1.6189). I know i made mistake i used multiple accounts and different people, that's because i was not aware of the rules and regulations. But now i will strictly follow the rules. Hope you understand. You have been dishonest with us all along. Firstly, you were an innocent editor who might have used the same IP address with others in the building. When that was not accepted, the story changed and it was you and your roommates innocently writing about good hotels. And now it was you using multiple accounts and "other people" to get your articles accepted. To prevent any further waste of time with your ever-changing stories, I have revoked your ability to edit this talk page.
