Mireseerdhe and thank you for your contributions. Please try to reference a little more, as this is the most important thing in the English Wikipedia: Everything has to be based on secondary sources (see wp:rs). --sulmues talk contributions 20:19, 8 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Substituted Dhermi to Drimadhes. Per Manual of Style of Wikipedia Dhermi should stay. Please let me know if you have any remarks, please. --sulmues talk contributions 20:26, 8 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Here is a PhD thesis where Dhermi is substituded to Drimades. Contested Spaces and Negotiated Identities in Dhermi/Drimades of Himare/Himara area, Southern Albania. Nataša Gregorič Bon. Nova Gorica 2008.

Beautiful, you're at a good point. I'll let you edit at your pleasure now. I rushed to make a couple of changes because I didn't want anybody to take this to AfD. I entered your name here, hope that's Ok with you. Take care. And for last, please let me know if you need any help by dropping a line in my talk page. Thank you again for joining Wikipedia! --sulmues talk contributions 20:39, 8 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome, and some things to get started[edit]

Hello, and welcome to wikipedia. Thank you for creating the article on Dhermi. However, I noticed that the text of the article is cut-paste from www.himara.eu. Unfortunately, the rules of wikipedia do not allow this, because the text is copyrighted by www.himara.eu. It is thus a copyright violation and I am required that I remove the copyrighted text. Don't worry though, I'm not going to erase the article itself. With a little bit of work, we can make a good article without any copyright problems. Welcome again, and feel free to ask me if you have any questions about wikipedia. Athenean (talk) 22:31, 8 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Also, I forgot to mention, self-published websites such as www.himara.eu are not the kind of sources that are allowed on wikipedia. When adding material, it is important that it be backed up by reliable sources, see WP:RS. Athenean (talk) 22:47, 8 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I wanted to make a article on Dhermi, based on this site. I know the copyright rules of wikipedia, hence I did not hide that the article is from this source. I would ask if it is possible to be kept only the description, as the whole text is copy-paste. Later on I am planing to improve it, whith adding new text with reference and photos.Igiann (talk) 22:50, 8 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Not sure what you mean by "the description". Do you mean just the first line? That can stay. The rest has to go though. By the way, the site is not really an acceptable source. The Ph.D. thesis by N. Gregoric-Bon is. If you want to add new text, you should use the Ph.D. thesis instead of the website.
Igiann (talk) 22:55, 8 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
ΟΚ, κατάλαβα, κανένα πρόβλημα. Η διατριβή είναι καλή πηγή. 'Αμα έχεις καμιά απορία, μην δυστάσεις να με ρωτήσεις. Athenean (talk) 23:20, 8 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Ilia Telo requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion," which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Slon02 (talk) 16:09, 26 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Europe 10,000 Challenge invite[edit]

Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Europe/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like Germany, Italy, the Benelux countries, Iberian Peninsula, Romania, Slovenia etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. If you would like to see masses of articles being improved for Europe and your specialist country like Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon, sign up today and once the challenge starts a contest can be organized. This is a way we can target every country of Europe, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant and also sign under any country sub challenge on the page that you might contribute to! Thank you. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 09:05, 6 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on R.M.S. Mataroa requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay.
