Color changes in tables[edit]

Please STOP changing the colors in tables without giving a valid reason for doing so (as is the case here), or for arbitrary reasons/reasons that make no sense (such as matching up with the colors of characters or "I like the color"). Also, please take some time to read and go over WP:COLOR - I noticed that at least one of your color changes may not meet Wikipedia's accessibility requirements for the colorblind. Hey I'm new here, I've only been editing for 3 days, give me a break.
Additionally, I strongly suggest that you discuss the changes with other editors on the articles' talk pages. Wikipedia is a community-based project, and discussing potentially controversial changes with other editors is strongly encouraged. I did have a reason, I just forgot to put it, the TTG/PPG crossover is NOT a stand-alone special for both shows, it's Season 3, Episode 40 of TTG. Icebear244 (talk)Icebear 244Icebear244 (talk)

Copying within Wikipedia requires proper attribution[edit]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from The Amazing World of Gumball (season 3) into The Amazing World of Gumball (season 5). While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. The attribution has been provided for this situation, but if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, please provide attribution for that duplication. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. If you are the sole author of the prose that was moved, attribution is not required. — Diannaa (talk) 21:32, 2 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

WP:COLOR[edit]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. At least one of your recent edits, such as the edit you made to List of CatDog episodes, contributed colours that may cause accessibility problems for users with certain types of visual disabilities. We aim to use colours that meet the WCAG AAA standard for accessibility. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines on this subject, which can be found at WP:COLOR; this page provides further information about contributing AAA-compliant colours to this encyclopedia. Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at The Lego Ninjago Movie, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 23:08, 22 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

There is no need to source that Warner Animation Group is one of the production companies, it's pretty obvious. Also the previous edit before mine listed Warner Bros Pictures twice as both a distributor and a production company. If the other WAG movie pages have Warner Animation Group listed as one of the production companies, why can't Ninjago? It makes no sense. Icebear244 (talk) 20:33, 24 May 2018 (UTC)Icebear244[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for August 13[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited List of Transformers television series, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Syndication (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 07:21, 13 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Introduction to contentious topics[edit]

You have recently edited a page related to the Arab–Israeli conflict, a topic designated as contentious. This is a brief introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.

A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia’s norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have special powers in order to reduce disruption to the project.

Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:

  • adhere to the purposes of Wikipedia;
  • comply with all applicable policies and guidelines;
  • follow editorial and behavioural best practice;
  • comply with any page restrictions in force within the area of conflict; and
  • refrain from gaming the system.

Additionally, you must be logged-in, have 500 edits and an account age of 30 days, and are not allowed to make more than 1 revert within 24 hours on a page within this topic.

Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic here. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template.
