If you love only other Christians, then you have failed to live up to the teachings of Jesus. But you knew that. Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? 23:23, 19 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Jesus*, and it appears to be very similar to another wikipedia page: Jesus. It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. Hello[edit]

You were inquiring why you could not edit the page Jesus. The are three classes of pages of Wikipedia:

  • Pages which anyone can edit - the vast majority of pages fall into this category.
  • Pages which can be edited by anyone except anonymous (i.e. not logged in) and new users (an account is classed an "new" if it less than four days old). These pages are referred to as "semi-protected".
  • Pages which can only be edited by administrators. These pages are referred to as "fully-protected". Only a small number of pages fall into this category and no articles are ever permanently fully protected.

Only adminstrators can protect, semi-protect or unprotect pages.

The full protection policy, explaining the reasons why pages may be protected (and when they should not be) can be found at WP:PROTECT.

If you have any more questions, you can ask me, at my talk page or ask at the help desk. CIreland (talk) 05:54, 19 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Your username[edit]

You should also be aware that your username could be problematic because usernames that considered too provocative are often frowned upon. I would ask you to consider making a new account with a more neutral username. The precise policy is here, should you wish to read it. CIreland (talk) 00:26, 20 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

As a Christian myself, I most notify you of something: If you love only all other Christians, then you are contradicting what Jesus actually said: "Love your enemies, bless them who curse you, and pray for those who despise and persecute you. For if you love only those who love you, what reward is there in that? Even 'sinners' do that." — Cinemaniac (talkcontribs) 00:33, 20 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
