I noticed that one of the first articles you edited was Shaftesbury High School, which appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. One rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing. Wikipedia generally does not allow editors to have usernames which imply that the account belongs to a company or corporation. If you have a username like this, you should request a change of username or create a new account. (A name that identifies the user as an individual within a given organization may be OK.)

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be repeatedly reverting or undoing other editors' contributions at Shaftesbury High School. Although this may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is known as "edit warring" and is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, as it often creates animosity between editors. Instead of reverting, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus on the talk page.

If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to be blocked from editing Wikipedia. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. This is my old school i was simply updating the page from it being a stub. Instead you guys have a problem with me doing that. I have gone to other school wiki's in winnipeg and they do that exact same thing. Last time i checked this is a encyclopedia not a place where we block speech. In ABSOLOUTLEY no way is there so called "promotion" i was simply putting information about the hockey program as that is what that school is known for. Please look in the dictionary for what the definition of promotion is as it may help with your future removals. Also if you think its promotion its simply blocking of speech. Here's the intro from your edits: "Welcome to Shaftesbury High School where we are proud to be the catchment area high school for the students of Linden Meadows, Van Walleghem, Charleswood and Laidlaw Schools. We are the school of choice for just over one hundred students..." Do you see that this is clearly unencyclopedic because it is written in the first person? I just checked your text against some references. If it were a school paper, it would be graded a zero for plagiarism. For Wikipedia purposes, it's called copyright violation and is not allowed. The addition of facts to the article is good; the addition of text that reads as a blatant promotion of the school is bad; the addition of text lifted from the school's website is absolutely not allowed. —C.Fred (talk) 02:33, 22 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

it is commercially as this information has been used multiple times by local news outlets without permission.

@C.Fred Yes indeed to be honest. There is another high school who has an identical logo as Shaftes but just with their school name and that was allowed although i am unaware of who copied who (if that is what happened). I have read all the copyright policies and have a pretty good understanding now. I would like to ask a few questions. I have a book from the school that is similar but this was handed out to the community. In the front it say this book may be re-used and information from this book is allowed to be distributed anywhere you would like. It even goes as far as saying this book is NOT copyrighted use at you will. Now if and when I am unbanned and use this book as my reference and modify information to be encyclopedia friendly, am I able to use that information without it being flagged as a promotion and copyright? I do want to help contribute and make that page have more information than what it has already. Please do inform as I am clearly still learning the rules.
