Sorry for the delay in getting back to you on this. I personally don't care too much either way on the link itself; my involvement in this issue (as far as I can see and remember) was simply to decline the user's unblock request, based on his edit warring and conduct; I don't think I reverted any of his edits (although if I did, please let me know). Looking at the link, it does potentially have some useful purpose, but since it was removed a number of times you should probably try to get a consensus on the issue first (which it seems is what you're doing). If you're getting a lot of comments like mine, I'd say go ahead and put it in if you think it'll be useful, but be prepared to back up why you think it should be included if it is reverted.
