Lions tour 2013

The way the article is at present is a bit weird. Having in chronological order is not wrong, but in this case having the Melbourne rebels under the first test section suggest that is of the tests to someone who doesn't really know the definition of test. Putting the test under the test series section singles them out from the tour matches which personally I feel is the correct way. Rugby.change (talk) 14:01, 9 May 2013 (UTC)

I think you're right about sections for each test being potentially misleading. The article is about the tour, so it makes a lot of sense to present the games in order. The test series is not a separate event - it is made up of three of the games that take place during the tour. So I think it makes sense to have some info about the test series in a section - including the trophy etc - but not to list them separately. I've removed section headings for each test match, and just added text showing 'First test' etc. This makes it clear that each game is a test and, as each game is separated by a horizontal line, it should be clear enough that the Rebels game is not part of the first test. Also, I've linked to the term 'test match' in the lead for anyone who isn't familiar with it. What do you think? --hippo43 (talk) 16:15, 11 May 2013 (UTC)
I've put the sections to the tests like it was before as it is easier to navigate through the page. I've looked on past tours and they had the last tour match under the first test section so to keep constancy include the sections. I suppose after the tour is over, the test matches could be placed in a new section if necessary and add the schedule into the article, but that is not a definite. In the mean time, the current article should be fine. Rugby.change (talk) 20:50, 11 May 2013 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
