HELP

I need help getting an image from the Getty Images website. CrocGator 22:28, 5 May 2007 (UTC)

Brilliant! I don't know how many times I've looked for just such a template - thanks! Grutness...wha? 00:13, 2 May 2007 (UTC)

No problem! I just got tired of typing out both templates, so decided to combine them into one. Glad I could help.

Grapes

The Cool Grapes Barnstar
For being the first person to acknowledge my love for grapes, I hereby award Hersfold the cool grapes barnstar! *Cremepuff222* 01:01, 2 May 2007 (UTC)

*laughs* It's a great honor, thank you. Hersfold (talk/work) 01:34, 2 May 2007 (UTC)

Heh, heh, heh. I've also been known to say "wowzerz" a lot too... Whatever, though... See ya around at MotD! *Cremepuff222* 01:42, 2 May 2007 (UTC)

Thats Hot!

Hi
Sorry about that, I didn't realize I couldn't do that. Regards.

No problem. You're welcome to post an article about the album, you just need to include more information than a note about who it's coming from. If you check out Wikiproject Albums, you can probably find more information on what we expect from an article about an album. It's also usually best to draft your article in a word processor or other program before adding it to Wikipedia, just to make sure everything is spelled right and it's completely ready to go. Next time you want to speak down to me, get a taller ladder.

I've been here sice 2006; don't dictate procedure to me. HalfShadow 20:41, 5 May 2007 (UTC)

You were a tad mean there, HalfShadow. I'm pretty sure that he was civil enough, Hersfold, but I do agree with the "not feeding the trolls" bit. Also, HalfShadow, shouldn't you know that deleting posts by other users is usually frowned upon if it's not at least archived? It seems we all acn learn from our mistakes, though, so don't take this post personally, please. *Cremepuff222* 20:58, 5 May 2007 (UTC)

Then I do apologize, HalfShadow. Sorry if I was condescending.
Thanks for stepping in, Cremepuff. Good to have someone line you around. Hersfold (talk/work) 05:02, 6 May 2007 (UTC)
No problem. Now I have two civility barnstars! Thanks very much! *Cremepuff222* 17:06, 6 May 2007 (UTC)
HalfShadow, I'm more than welcome to clear this up, but do not remove messages from my talk page. Thank you. Hersfold (talk/work) 21:25, 6 May 2007 (UTC)

Anne B. Real

I don't see why this article should be deleted just because it has too little information. Don't many articles START that way? I personally don't know the movie but I know that it exists, and I certainly feel it is notable. Perhaps more research should be done into verifying its nobility before it is just ruthlessly deleted. Tamajared 23:36, 6 May 2007 (UTC)

The issue wasn't notability - there is a certain standard which articles must meet for content. WP:STUB outlines the minimum requirement for an article's content - a restatement of the title is not sufficient and meets CSD A3 - "Any article consisting only of links elsewhere (including hyperlinks, category tags and "see also" sections), a rephrasing of the title, and/or attempts to correspond with the person or group named by its title." If you are able to provide more information about the subject, then please feel free to recreate the article. Hersfold (talk/work) 00:59, 7 May 2007 (UTC)

Whoops

I posted the {{helpme}} there as a joke, I forgot to nowiki it! Sorry. It was a joke. The guy tried to vandal me and couldn't do it right. 'Twas quite entertaining. Quatreryukami 02:11, 7 May 2007 (UTC)

Yea, sorry again for wasting your time. I will. Quatreryukami 02:21, 7 May 2007 (UTC)
Thanks. See you around Wikipedia. Hersfold (talk/work) 02:25, 7 May 2007 (UTC)

Regional power article

Hi, can we please do something to stop the user who is removing content? Willy turner 23:35, 7 May 2007 (UTC)

Oops, sorry, missed that earlier. The only thing I can recommend would be to have the page semi-protected at WP:RPP. If someone's really dedicated to editing an article even when they've been told they're doing it wrong several times, the only ways to stop them are a civil discussion, protection, or a block. Since the discussion isn't working so well, that leaves us with the last two. Hersfold (talk/work) 21:58, 8 May 2007 (UTC)

uw-bite

I see you've recreated uw-bite. Please see my comment here about it. I don't think we should have it. --TeckWiz is now R ParlateContribs@ (Let's go Yankees!) 23:50, 7 May 2007 (UTC)

If I were telling someone not to bite, and they were experienced, I would leave a message explaining the incident, no just a basic template. Maybe it would be better w/ no icon. --TeckWiz is now R ParlateContribs@ (Let's go Yankees!) 02:01, 8 May 2007 (UTC)
I meant that if we plan on using it on experienced users, the icon should be removed. There will definitely be some people that do you it on experienced users. --TeckWiz is now R ParlateContribs@ (Let's go Yankees!) 19:50, 8 May 2007 (UTC)

Thanks

Thanks for reverting the vandalism on my user talkpage today. Chriswiki 15:19, 22 May 2007 (UTC)
No problem, any time! See you on patrol! Hersfold (talk/work) 15:20, 22 May 2007 (UTC)

Comment...

So, if I changed your edit count and wasn't supposed to, that would be considered vandalism, right? Then, if I was following that comment you just made, I would change the number again. Then, that would be vandalism too so I'd be caught in an endless loop! I recommend adding a loop control variable to that comment so that the updater can exit from the loop if need be. Thanks! *Cremepuff222* "As cool as grapes..." 01:26, 28 May 2007 (UTC)

Thanks for the feedback

Thanks for taking the time to review my listed files and adding some useful comments. Dbiel (Talk) 23:30, 30 May 2007 (UTC)

Anytime! Let me know if you ever need someone to look something over again. :-) Hersfold (talk/work) 23:33, 30 May 2007 (UTC)

Hi there, just dropping in to thank you for participating in Articles for Creation! For a while it was a bit of a lonely place! Just curious, have you ever thought about helping out with the backlog there? It's a really big one!--Xnuala (talk)(Review) 03:05, 31 May 2007 (UTC)

No problem! I have noticed the backlog, but didn't really take a look at it until now. I'll try to knock some of those out. Thanks! Hersfold (talk/work) 14:45, 31 May 2007 (UTC)

RE: Your Signature.....

Yah, took out Maximus thing. Would you like me to take out the Sandbox? c'mon, we've fished a good one.Kfc1864Cuba Libre! 05:44, 31 May 2007 (UTC)

Nah, that's fine, but maybe make the "fished" quote in small text? Many thanks! Hersfold (talk/work) 14:40, 31 May 2007 (UTC)
Eee..... well, that I have to refuse. Sorry. c'mon, we've fished a good one.Kfc1864Cuba Libre! 14:50, 31 May 2007 (UTC)
Alright, then. It's ok as is. Thanks for shortening it as far as you did. See you around MOTD! Hersfold (talk/work) 14:52, 31 May 2007 (UTC)
