Notability of Rumor Had It

A tag has been placed on Rumor Had It, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. Re: recent edits to Meat Puppets

You seem to be someone who knows quite a bit about the Meat Puppets, so I wondered if you could take a moment and look at the recent edits an anonymous user has made to the article. Some of it looks good, or at least factual, but he's made a mess of the article with grammatical, spelling, capitalization, and punctuation errors. Well, this sounds perfect to me. I can check the spelling and grammatical errors, with no problem. But, if you can check for any factual errors, that will be a huge help, because, though I'm a big fan, I do not know much about the band's history. Unexplained reversions

Hey there. I noticed you reverted [1] [2] some changes I made. As you didn't provide any edit summary, I can only speculate about what you thought was wrong with those changes. AFAIK the changes I made all brought the articles more in line with WP:ALBUM. I did change "Length = 14 at 58:36" to "Length = 58:36" because I didn't understand what "14 at" was supposed to mean, and assumed that was a typo. If that was not a typo, it needs to be explained more clearly. I have reverted your reversions. Have a nice day. --PEJL 18:04, 3 June 2007 (UTC)

I've reverted your reversions because most weren't in line with the Wiki Album Project. In stead of reverting some i reverted all. 14 at means 14 tracks standing at 58:36. The small tags is a way to divide between album title and songwriters, which is commonly used in Album project. Either way is fine by me, but i erveted your edits because all the work i put in the albums was gone with your edits! Henkje123 18:38, 3 June 2007 (UTC)

I'm afraid you are wrong, the changes I made are in line with WP:ALBUM, which describes how album articles should be formatted, including using bold text for the current album in chronologies, italicizing album titles, how songwriters should be attributed in track listings, quoting track names, formatting of album length as mm:ss, and the way the "All songs written..." sentence should be written. I don't know what "all the work i put in" is meant to say, but you may want to read WP:OWN. --PEJL 18:52, 3 June 2007 (UTC)

Also, the "14 at" statement makes no sense even if the user somehow understands that it refers to the number of tracks, since the track listing has ten tracks. --PEJL 18:55, 3 June 2007 (UTC)

I've these small changes are the way to way to go with the Album Project, then i don't think i want to be a member anymore. And "all the work i put in" means the time i put in, making the article readable and up to a B status. Guess you can do it yourself then.

Non-free album cover art is generally allowed to be used for primary identification purposes in stand-alone articles about albums, but its use in other articles is generally only allowed when the cover art itself is the subject of sourced critical commentary as explained in WP:NFC#cite_note-3 and the context for non-free use required by WP:NFCC#8 is evident. There is no such commentary for this particular album cover anywhere in the article, and the use of soundtrack album cover art in articles about films or TV programs is generally not allowed for this reason as explained in WP:FILMSCORE.
