Hiya[edit]

I hope my comment about the synopsis wasn't too harsh. Sorry! I still haven't finished reading the whole thing (on p. 319, although I've skimmed all the way to the end several times), or I would have done more rewriting myself. SandChigger 09:33, 22 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

September 2009[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed content from United States presidential election in California, 2008. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the text has been restored, as you can see from the page history. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. – Zntrip 16:57, 30 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Article talk pages[edit]

Re your comment Talk:2011_Chinese_protests#Perspective_From_Somebody_Who_s_Lived_in_China. The talk pages are the perfect places for any editor to make comments about how to improve the particular article, as long as they do so in a manner that is respectful of other editors. Note that in general, personal experience or opinion cannot be placed within article content itself, but it can be used to explain why you think content should be presented in a certain manner or not presented at all. But note that the over-riding principals will be what we can verify and presenting the content in appropriate proportion and viewpoints. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
