Is there a space or a line break in there (I'm guessing at the end)? If so, can you remove it? — Jeraphine Gryphon (talk) 20:54, 9 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Requesting setup help[edit]

I'm trying to archive Wikipedia talk:AutoWikiBrowser/Bugs to Wikipedia talk:AutoWikiBrowser/Bugs/Archive 30, but it keeps archiving to Wikipedia talk:AutoWikiBrowser/Archive 1. Could you please help me figure out what I am doing wrong? Thanks! GoingBatty (talk) 16:02, 14 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Please change <includeonly><!-- Empty template --></includeonly> to {{#if:{{{key|}}}|[[Category:Pages archived using a key]]|<span></span>}} like in User:MiszaBot/config, because the first only produces white space. Hddty. (talk) 02:01, 14 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Not done for now: as far as I can tell this bot does not use a key parameter so I can't see the logic of making this change — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 09:20, 15 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Legobot implementation differences[edit]

Looking at the Legobot implementation, it does not accept mask1=, mask2=, etc parameters. But it appears that more than one mask= parameter is supported, so you can list multiple archives by their file names. Relative file names are probably best - they start with a "/" character.

There is also support for masks containing <month> and <year> for date-based archives with the <month> part being a full month name in English. In order to use this form, a first_archive= parameter must be supplied for the starting date. Indexing stops at the first missing archive so you may have to supply some empty archive files to fill in any holes in the sequence. — jmcgnh(talk) (contribs) 08:03, 15 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
