Notice

The article Delevea naibensis has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Wrong name, probaly typo.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. A tag has been placed on Category:Parmenonta indicating that it is currently empty, and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion. If it remains empty for seven days or more, it may be deleted under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself. Liz Read! @Liz: I give strong support to deleting the category. Taxonomic understanding has changed making the page outdated. Gug01 (talk) 01:29, 10 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I've watched the page about the albanians from Romania and i saw that Ion Antonescu was there, the only sources backing this claim are of fringe theories coming from unreliable journals or radios, actual historiography doesn't mention any albanian ancestor of him. I request if you can give a look at it. Autopatrolled granted[edit]

Hi Gug01, I just wanted to let you know that I have added the "autopatrolled" permission to your account, as you have created numerous, valid articles. This feature will have no effect on your editing, and is simply intended to reduce the workload on new page patrollers. For more information on the autopatrolled right, see Wikipedia:Autopatrolled. However, you should consider adding relevant wikiproject talk-page templates, stub-tags and categories to new articles that you create if you aren't already in the habit of doing so, since your articles will no longer be systematically checked by other editors (User:Evad37/rater and User:SD0001/StubSorter.js are useful scripts which can help). Feel free to leave me a message if you have any questions. Happy editing! -- TNT (talk • she/her) 06:52, 2 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@TheresNoTime: Thank you for the Autopatrolled status. Also, the idea of saving time for new page patrollers meshes well with your username. :) To the new page patrollers, keep up the great work! Gug01 (talk) 19:55, 13 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for March 16[edit]

Georg Kawerau moved to draftspace[edit]

Thanks for your contributions to Georg Kawerau. Unfortunately, it is not ready for publishing because it needs secondary sources to establish notability. Your article is now a draft where you can improve it undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. -MPGuy2824 (talk) 04:21, 26 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Consider becoming Autopatrolled[edit]

Hello, Gug01.

I've seen you editing recently and you seem like an experienced Wikipedia editor.
Would you please consider applying to become an Autopatrolled editor? Editors with a good history of creating clean articles can obtain this user right which would significantly reduce the workload on our New page patrolling process. Articles created by users with this right are automatically marked as patrolled and does not require further manual reviewing. Currently Wikipedia needs experienced editors to have this role. But kindly read these points before making your decision. Thanks. ❯❯❯ Raydann(Talk) 22:15, 29 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Draftification of Georg Kawerau[edit]

Replying to User talk:MPGuy2824/Archive 5#Georg Kawerau: Gug01, some of your points do make sense, while some are not valid for the English Wikipedia:

  • the article exists in several other languages The notability criteria for the English wikipedia are different from the other language wikipedias.
  • the article is NOT unsourced; there IS a bibliography You're right. It's possible that i somehow confused it with the publications section while perusing through the article.
  • Georg Kawerau is linked in several other articles, and has an entire section devoted to him in the feature article Notability isn't inherited, but has to be shown for each individual subject/article.

Overall, I'd say that i made a mistake, which i've now undone by moving the draft back to mainspace. If you could add one or more inline citations, it would be great. Thanks for all you do on Wikipedia! -MPGuy2824 (talk) 03:25, 4 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@MPGuy2824: If I have time and energy, I'll try to work on inline citations. Thanks for clearing it up! Gug01 (talk) 03:43, 4 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Autopatrolled granted[edit]

Hi Gug01, I just wanted to let you know that I have added the autopatrolled user right to your account. This means that pages you create will automatically be marked as 'reviewed', and no longer appear in the new pages feed. Autopatrolled is assigned to prolific creators of articles, where those articles do not require further review, and may have been requested on your behalf by someone else. It doesn't affect how you edit; it is used only to manage the workload of new page patrollers.

Since the articles you create will no longer be systematically reviewed by other editors, it is important that you maintain the high standard you have achieved so far in all your future creations. Please also try to remember to add relevant WikiProject templates, stub tags, categories, and incoming links to them, if you aren't already in the habit; user scripts such as Rater and StubSorter can help with this. As you have already shown that you have a strong grasp of Wikipedia's core content policies, you might also consider volunteering to become a new page patroller yourself, helping to uphold the project's standards and encourage other good faith article writers.

Feel free to leave me a message if you have any questions. Happy editing! ~Swarm~ {sting} 15:56, 4 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
