Right here is fine :) If you can get an formal permission from the band (your word alone is not enough due to the copyright message on your website - it bites, I know) to reproduce the text and release it under the GFDL license (read Wikipedia:Text_of_the_GNU_Free_Documentation_License for the license, as it is quite different to the text's current license and has some implications) then I see no problem with you using it in a well written article.

To start the process, you can follow Wikipedia:Boilerplate_request_for_permission. If you have executive control over the band as an organisational entity (i.e. there is no committee that would need to agree to decisions pertaining to the bands posession) then it would be a simple matter of filling out one of the generic forms on that page, emailing it to permissions AT wikimedia DOT org, then posting your original stuff. If there is no real administrative structure, you might like to pass the form through your Pipe and Drum Major, add their names and do the same email rigmarole.

You don't need to await a reply from that email - it's more of a recording process - please post straight away. The only other thing you might like to do is post a message on the discussion page saying you haver permission so we don't run into this again.

This might all seem a little silly, but it is very important in terms of Wikipedia's legal situation.
