@Peaceray: Thank you for your welcome (scripted?), but I'm already active on wikipedia for over 11 years :'D. Mostly on my native language wikipedia corner though.Grifo (talk) 22:49, 10 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hallo, Grifo! Yes, I see that you edit mostly on Dutch Wikipedia. Whenever I notice an uncreated User talk page, then I tend to place the {{Welcome-menu}} via Twinkle, a semi-automated tool. Welcoming is one of its more pleasant tasks. I believe the first communication on a registered editor's talk page should generally be a welcome. Peaceray (talk) 05:29, 11 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I can understand it is a pleasant thing to do. Probably more fun than correcting erroneous edits. Thanks for the welcome, it is appreciated. Even though it is a bit pointless in my case, one cannot trace all the language-pedias for a 'new' member that is logical. I usually browse the Dutch version for my information and keep a couple of sports related pages up to date there, but I use the English version often when the Dutch wikipediapage is insufficient. I will only edit here when I am absolutely confident that my knowledge and intended edit really is an improvement of the page. Hence I do not edit often on the English wikipedia version.
