Livia Firth[edit]

Hi - yes, I think it would make perfect sense to link to both her IMDB profiles. I would also suggest addressing the bare URLs as these are prone to link rot - there is a Cite tool in edit mode that should enable you to create references citing author name, publication, date checked, date of creation, etc. Mabalu (talk) 23:36, 17 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Also, I gather from your user name that you're interested in ecological fashion - that's a field that Wikipedia could benefit from expansion on, if you want to tackle a few more articles on the subject, such as designers, production techniques, etc - the Sustainable fashion page would benefit from additional decent references/edits. I'd be very happy to help and/or offer advice and opinions if you like. Mabalu (talk) 23:42, 17 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you very much for your help! I would gladly help with the page and the topic as this is an advocacy I care about a lot. Again, thank you!GreenEcoFashion (talk) 04:29, 5 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Livia Firth, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where an article has substantially identical content to that of an article deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Sorry about that.[edit]

The page shouldn't have been deleted, IMO, as I think she clearly has standalone notability, but hey, welcome to Wikipedia, sorry you got bitten, please don't be disheartened.Mabalu (talk) 01:02, 19 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

It was indeed unfortunate. I messaged the administrator who deleted it and contested about it. Livia Firth is notable. I am just really disappointed that there seems to be a prejudice around here about wives of higher profile celebs. Livia Firth is so much more than being the mother of Colin's children. I hope you help me in rallying for the page to be up again. Thanks for the support!GreenEcoFashion (talk) 04:24, 31 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Have you considered maybe going via WP:Articles for creation? That way the article will be closely scrutinised, examined for notability and Wiki-worthiness, and cleared. You could also consider creating an article for the company itself. I did try arguing, and in my opinion the deletion and AFD were both fundamentally flawed, but it didn't work. Getting angry with certain people (no matter how much they seem determined to encourage it with their snooty attitudes) won't help your case any. Mabalu (talk) 17:01, 6 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I know, it's really rather unfortunate. I will try one last time anyway. Thanks!GreenEcoFashion (talk) 19:47, 22 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
BTW, thank you for that Articles for creation link! I'll definitely try that route! Thanks for your help!GreenEcoFashion (talk) 21:00, 22 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Hey - yes, definitely do go via Articles for Creation - I think that's the best bet - and also do consider doing the article on the company as it does seem more clearly notable - it can include biographical info on Livia as a founder but should be focused on the company itself. Stop[edit]

Please stop. Seriously. There was a reason you were banned and that doesn't mean to keep making new users so you can continue to edit. That's ridiculous. Wikipedia is not the place for you. I know you want to edit, especially Benedict's page but you've ruined that opportunity for yourself with your behavior and your lack of honesty. LADY LOTUSTALK 14:42, 27 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
