Boy, that guy on #wikipedia-en-help pissed me off. I like the spirit of Bold -> Revert -> Discuss (wp:BRD). I wanted to weigh my decision whether to get an account on Wikipedia or not also on how I am treated as an anonymous contributor. Praxicidae (I think) is not a good advertiser to me for the purpose of joining. Still, I hope that his attitude isn't representative for the spirit of the whole community.

I think the article has a pretty good claim to notability if we can find more sources. And you can work to flesh out all the placeholder text and find infos for the empty parameters in the infobox, already. I will look by and do formatting and perhaps research for more info a few times in the coming days. Still you have to expect that the notability might be challenged and it won't pass the current AfC run. (It has been re-comitted for AfC, hasn't it?). We shall see. Good luck, anyway. 2.247.242.222 (talk) 14:49, 10 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, only just noticed how much you had written, while we were arguing on IRC. Going to work stuff into the infobox and format text according to what I already learned from the wp:Manual of Style. 2.247.242.222 (talk) 14:55, 10 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Btw, I think the Draft has much better chances of becoming an article if the title were just "Kenneth Norton". His sailors sure didn't call him "Admiral K.J.". And even better chances if we knew what the J. stands for. 2.247.242.222 (talk) 14:59, 10 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I cannot access presspubs.com (blocked for EU) and don't want to use a proxy right now. That cite template needs the title of the article, still (shown as an error in red), please fill it in if you can. I also think the IRC guy said presspubs.com is not a wp:reliable source. I will look into that later. 2.247.242.222 (talk) 15:17, 10 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Accessed it by now and established that White Bear Press is a traditional local newspaper, by giving its library of Congress serial number. Although they host their stuff on presspubs.com, this should suffice. 2.247.242.222 (talk) 18:23, 10 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Are you sure about him receiving the letter of censure in 2015? Secretary Spencer assumed office in 2017. Shouldn't get that mixed up. 2.247.242.222 (talk) 19:00, 10 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
