To whom it may concern[edit]

For the benefit of anyone thinking of coming here to threaten me with blocks please take note and listen well. When accused without foundation of "Hate Speech" I become very unpleasant. I become unpleasant to those who accuse me, and those who defend them. I have never made "hate speech" those that say I did are liars. Those who defend liars can describe themselves. So whatever you think of yourself, or however you justify your actions please don't waste your time here. Carnildo has accused me of hate speech. He is a liar. He has not apologised, he has shown no remorse. He is a liar. You want him as an admin? That's your decision, but please just don't try to alter my opinion. I have still the block log saying I make hate speech - what has he got? - those fine admins above, and I wish him joy of them. Hate speech may not be much in the wonderland you all live in, but in my world it's quite a big deal. Giano | talk 20:45, 30 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

So since attempting to clear my name of "Hate speech"

  • User:Xoloz has told me I should not be angry at being accused of hate speech.
  • User:Kylu has banned me for ban me for 48 hours
  • User:NoSeptember has threatened to ban me.
  • User:Kingboyk pops up to tell me I'm uncivil (although that seems to be a common point of agreement amongst them)
  • User:Daniel.Bryant accuses me of starting edit wars, quite where remains to be seen. Well at least he has a new accusation.
  • User:Theresa knott has popped in during my absence today to censor my comments. which have obviously been to close to the truth for her. Interestingly she leaves all the accusations.

None of these have ever left a message here before. For the benefit of anyone interested (I can't imagine anyone is "Hey man, what's hate speech after all ") Check the page history, I don't do diffs.

I expect the majority of the above are all admins, I can't be bothered to check them out. Their belief that me being a little cross and blunt to certain of their number far worse a crime than a false accusation of "Hate Speech", lowers them.

So while you are drawing your own conclusions you can study the picture of the splendid animal whose company I have been keeping today, while these Ms Knott has been rummaging through my page. I thoroughly enjoyed our time together, a refreshing change. He's called a bull.

God, I wish I were than hansome

What can be done now...[edit]

We've been discussing the problem at WP:AN#Forgiveness on Wikipedia and Wikipedia:Village pump (technical)#Expunging block log entries.

Two suggestions have emerged during the day:

  1. You can try contacting a developer with database access, such as User:Brion VIBBER, and ask if they can change the block comment to something less offensive.
  2. That failing, you can turn to ArbCom to have the case reviewed. They will be able to ask for the database entry to be changed.

It seems that currently, both of those will take some time, because Brion seems to be away and ArbCom is always busy.

Good luck,

That is very very kind, but I have given in, and withdrawn my opposition of Carnildo's candidacy. There is only so much one can take, today has been a trial, I do not want to endure again. They can vote Carnildo in, if that is their decision, I shall endevour to forgive them as best I can. Giano | talk 20:05, 31 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
This should'nt be about forgiveness (though it is usally accompanied by some form of an apology), but about the candidate's willingness to take responsibility for his actions. That he has yet to do so in an even remotely substantive way, betrays an unstable and unreflective attitude which too greatly risks further crises in the future. I've blocked you for ten seconds for with an appropriate block log note. I have blocked countless of users for real hate speech, so I hope that my words bear some weight. I know it's long overdue, but it just did not cross my mind, although it should have. El_C 22:18, 31 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Well done Agent C. OY, G, YOU YOBBO! Checked yer mail lately? I wanna see that 'Mona Lisa Smirk' again. Regards, your best enemy--R.D.H. (Ghost In The Machine) 22:28, 31 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
My block log has an mHello, my name is Alex and I begging you to let me edit, because I would never write a false article or statements, so please allow me to edit — beat that! (accidentally copied part of an email). Plus, I also accidentally blocked myself like four times. Before the blockuser button, I'd have my own user ready to block (bookmark), then I'd copy the user/ip name into the field. The few times I failed to ctrl.v, though, now grace my block log. Oh, and trying to figure out the autoblock, sheer hilarity! El_C 02:02, 1 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Kindly stop[edit]

Kindly stop believing or pretending to believe that the recent spate of criticism you have recieved was based on the way you voted in Carnildo's RfA -- it was not. It was based on the invective you used as you went after Lar for voting the other way. I did not feel you should be blocked, but I will say that unless you reflect on your words to Lar and acknowledge some wish that they had been more tempered -- or dare I say, tender him an apology -- I shall remain deeply disappointed. —Bunchofgrapes (talk) 17:54, 1 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

[1] Probably not a good idea to dare too much, you could end up even more disapointed. G'night. Giano | talk 18:07, 1 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
