Gaustaag,

I just wanted to tell you how much I appreciate the criticism you have made of the article Sappho. It's always useful to have other editors who know a subject give their input, and even where I have disagreed with you I find it very helpful to have to think about why I made a particular decision when writing the article in the first place. (And, while I'm here, a shameless plug: if you have any commentary to give about improving Brothers Poem, I would be very happy to hear it.)

All the best, and I hope to see more of you around classics articles in the future,

@Caeciliusinhorto:, Thank you for saying such nice things, you surprised me. And it means something coming from you, who I admire for the work that you’ve been doing. You’re contributions are thoughtful, eloquent, and you definitely raise the bar around this crazy joint. I also admire your interests and the subjects you choose to focus on — your heart’s certainly in the right place on that score. Sorry I’ve been away for a day or two. I’ll be glad read the Brother’s Poem article in the next few days, or so. I don’t know if I’ll be able to make any comments that are helpful, but I will at least have the pleasure of reading about something that I’d like to know better. All the very best.
