Disambiguation link notification for November 2[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Methane, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page CCGT (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

BC and BCE etc[edit]

Hi. I would respectfully suggest that you don't make any more mass BC >BCE changes until you have read MOS:ERA and then started a discussion on the article's Talk page. It's less popular than you might think! Happy editing, best wishes DBaK (talk) 07:48, 19 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, Thanks for the Feedback. I have read the page, and from what I conclude from it, it suggests that there should be a change to CE/BCE when there is no specific reference to Christian/European historical topics (although vague) Also, the wiki states "more neutral and inclusive of non-Christian people is to call this the Current or Common Era (abbreviated as CE)" In this case, an article about Halley's comet, which was also observed in the far east for examples, I would deem it appropriate.

Thanks very much for this. I think per MOS:ERA and MOS:STYLERET, to which the former refers, you would now need to propose this change at the article's Talk page itself. It's fine to talk it over here briefly as we have, but that will be the place to sort it out properly: If you believe an alternative style would be more appropriate for a particular article, discuss this at the article's talk page or – if it raises an issue of more general application or with the MoS itself – at Wikipedia talk:Manual of Style. Hope this helps. Thanks and best wishes DBaK (talk) 10:47, 26 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Fast vs thermal.png. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status and its source. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously.

If you did not create this work entirely yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. You will also need to state under what licensing terms it was released. Please refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file.

Please add this information by editing the image description page. If the necessary information is not added within the next seven days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Jonteemil (talk) 22:13, 2 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
