October 2014[edit]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. At least one of your recent edits, such as the edit you made to Windows 10, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at the welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make some test edits, please use the sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. June 2015[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm ViperSnake151. I noticed that you made a change to an article, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. November 2020[edit]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to add unsourced or poorly sourced content, as you did at Alternet, you may be blocked from editing. Doug Weller talk 12:07, 25 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

For the sake of posterity, I will mention that this warning is merely a reactionary sanction. I may have gone too far in labeling AlterNet "far-left" because that label was without proper citation (Media Bias Fact Check and AllSides are, of course, crowd-sourced aggregation tools and as such are not deemed reliable by Wikipedia), but this was not in any way a disruptive edit, as I was aiming to classify AlterNet in the correct fashion. Go read the talk page and judge for yourself. wolf (talk) 21:43, 25 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Important Notice[edit]

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in post-1932 politics of the United States and closely related people. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.
