That's impossible. I tried. He insists in championing the views of a very narrow sector as the unique truth and any other opinion is simply wrong for him. I have the strong suspicion he's been using at least three different usernames for this purpose. --Andromeda 15:04, 12 June 2007 (UTC)

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Zipi_Zape_Super_Humor_New.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. ShakespeareFan00 14:59, 18 June 2007 (UTC)

Hello. Please don't forget to provide an edit summary. Thank you. Ckatzchatspy 17:58, 15 August 2007 (UTC)

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Stargate Atlantis. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions in a content dispute within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content which gains a consensus among editors. I have blocked you for 24 hours for edit warring on Stargate Atlantis. Please discuss your changes, do not keep reverting. --Tango 18:09, 27 August 2007 (UTC)

Morpholomew on the American Dragon: Jake Long article

Cease your editing to the article please. Morpholomew is an episode for Lilo and Stitch: The Series. It does not belong in the main article under the section Episodes. Thank you for your time reading this. TrackFan 19:35, 30 August 2007 (UTC)

Stop now or I will be forced to take action against you. It is not an episode of American Dragon: Jake Long so therefore it does not belong on the page. Am I being clear? TrackFan 20:46, 31 August 2007 (UTC)
You do not understand that is not an episode of American Dragon. I do not see any of these crossover episodes mentioned in Kim Possible or The Proud Family so therefore it should not be in American Dragon: Jake Long.TrackFan
It still is not an episode of American Dragon: Jake Long. Your edits will continually be reverted until you realize that it is not valid and it does not belong on the page. TrackFan 15:55, 3 September 2007 (UTC)
I have decided to add the crossover appearance back in the article which is now listed under the section Television in Appearances in other media. I hope that we can put this nasty issue behind us. TrackFan 00:41, 4 September 2007 (UTC)

Image:Without_a_trace_cast.jpg

I have tagged Image:Without_a_trace_cast.jpg as {{no rationale}}, because it does not provide a fair use rationale. If you believe the image to be acceptable for fair use according to Wikipedia policy, please provide a rationale explaining as much, in accordance with the fair use rationale guideline, on the image description page. Please also consider using {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. Thank you. Rettetast 10:54, 25 September 2007 (UTC)

Els Segadors

Hi Andromeda. Relating to your revert of the edit I made to Els Segadors. I was trying to make the point that historic Catalonia is not just the Spanish Autonomous Community, but also includes other areas, such as "Catalunya Nord". I thought the way I wrote it was factual and NPOV but I am open to other suggestions of rewording, of course.

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Spirou and spip.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:Spirou and spip.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Ancient Technology Activation gene

You reverted a merge of Ancient Technology Activation gene to Ancient technology in Stargate#Ancient Technology Activation (ATA). I was very careful to not remove anything of worth in the merge and therefore do not agree with "The original page has more information". As for "The original page [...] better presented" - generally speaking, prose is prefered to lists per Wikipedia:Prose#Bulleted_and_numbered_lists. Also, the Ancient Technology Activation gene is a non-notable fictional concept per Wikipedia:Notability (fiction) (note that the disputed-guideline-tag almost only refers to the current deletionist approach of the guideline, but the ATA merge deleted nothing). If you prefer a proper merge discussion, I can certainly do so, but be aware that the article in its current state is vulnerable to an AfD that would certainly end in a clear merge, if not even delete. Please let me know how to procede. Thanks in advance.– sgeureka t•c 17:45, 3 January 2008 (UTC)

You need to discuss things. I have approached you, and I've added a merge tag, and no-one (also not you) responded within the past 5 days. You can ignore me if you like but you cannot ignore WP:FICT without having to face deletion of the article. This is not meant as a threat but an honest attempt to collaborate. I'll revert to "my" version tommorow if there are no further comments. Should that not work, I probably have no other option than to go to AfD to get consensus for merging (or deletion). – sgeureka t•c 18:05, 9 January 2008 (UTC)

Haven't you thought that if anyone has replied is because people likes it the way it is now? --Andromeda (talk) 23:52, 9 January 2008 (UTC)

No comment means no opposition against merging. Opposition in the style of WP:ILIKEIT can be diregarded. This article in its current form fails Wikipedia:Notability (fiction), and should not exist. The proper way is to either expand it so that it meets Wikipedia:Notability (fiction), or to get rid of it. Since I as a SG fan am completely unaware of significant coverage in reliable secondary sources to establish notability for article expansion, I am using the suggestions of Wikipedia:Notability (fiction) to merge->transwiki/redirect->AfD. If you oppose merging (and by extension redirection), I'd only have AfD to go. And I can guarantee that AfD will not result in a keep. As you are the only one oposing the merge, this choice is completely up to you. I'll check back tommorrow. – sgeureka t•c 13:11, 11 January 2008 (UTC)

Josh Duhamel Article

Andromeda, thank you for your explanation and clarification on the editing of the Josh Duhamel article. However, I don't believe that the information in question is necessary in the actor's infobox and it is redundant, as it is already mentioned in the Personal Life section of the article. In addition, I don't believe that every actor/actress should have their "domestic partner" listed, since the term "domestic partnership" can possess many different meanings and thus, can cause confusion. I will not revert the article again, as it is disruptive and I refuse to participate in an edit war with you (which you seem to have a history of), and since you have a history of "almost" violating the 3RR, I have no doubts that you would simply revert it once again and therefore, I won't waste my time. I have placed this discussion at the talk page for anyone else who would like to provide input. Ms. Sarita (talk) 03:05, 14 January 2008 (UTC)

Stella Bonasera

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Stella Bonasera, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you agree with the deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please add {{db-author}} to the top of Stella Bonasera. Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Wonder woman the hiketeia.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Wonder woman the hiketeia.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Orphaned non-free media (Image:Stargate Hermiod.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:Stargate Hermiod.jpg.

Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:04, 23 February 2008 (UTC)

Image:Wildstorm_the_authority_harsh_realities.jpg

I have tagged Image:Wildstorm_the_authority_harsh_realities.jpg as {{no rationale}}, because it does not provide a fair use rationale. If you believe the image to be acceptable for fair use according to Wikipedia policy, please provide a rationale explaining as much, in accordance with the fair use rationale guideline, on the image description page. Some examples can be found at Wikipedia:Use rationale examples. Please also consider using {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags/Non-free. Thank you. Fair use rationale for Image:Century Hotel.jpg

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Century Hotel.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Project FMF (talk) 22:19, 5 March 2008 (UTC)

Image Copyright problem
Image Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading Image:Simon & Simon.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 13:53, 22 May 2008 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Rossrs (talk) 13:53, 22 May 2008 (UTC)

Respect Thread Conversions

I'm looking for folks to help convert Respect Threads to wiki formatting on Project Fanboy: WikiFans. Respect Threads, showcase scans of feats performed by comic book characters and have gained an audience on several comic book message boards. A few other wiki editors and myself are trying to convert them from the unprofessional look of a bunch of posts on a message board to the formatting common with WikiMedia wiki's. To view an example of what we're doing, here is a link to Respect Silver Surfer.

I was wondering if you might have time to contribute your comic book knowledge and/or scans of comic book characters performing feats, and help us out with our Respect Articles project?Millennium Cowboy (talk) 02:00, 27 July 2008 (UTC)

Disputed non-free use rationale for Image:Zipi Zape Super Humor New.jpg

Thank you for uploading Image:Zipi Zape Super Humor New.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this image on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the image description page and add or clarify the reason why the image qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for images used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 10:56, 12 September 2008 (UTC)
