Hello, FishandChipper,

When you nominate an article for deletion, you have to present a reason for why the article should be deleted, an argument based in Wikipedia policy. Please do not nominate any more articles for deletion discussions at AFD or Proposed deletions (PRODs) without presenting a reason why you think the article should be deleted. Thank you. Liz Read! Sorry yeah, I was a bit trigger happy and accidentally nominated without giving a reason. FishandChipper 🐟🍟 07:58, 5 October 2022 (UTC)
Just a reminder (I was involved in the AfD) to do WP:BEFORE before AfDing, as a search on Google Books reveals many refs. Also, I see on your user talk page that you have the pending changes and rollback topicon, which is IMHO a bit strange as you're not (see Template:Rollback topicon). Many thanks again! Hi FishandChipper. As you apposed nominating this article for deletion before, could you also share your thought here and help me improve the article? Ghazaalch (talk) 03:09, 18 October 2022 (UTC)

Regarding WP:CSD#G4

Hi, I undid your G4 tagging here because WP:CSD#G4 only allows for deletion of pages that have previously been deleted following a deletion discussion (AfD). The deletion log for this article only shows copyvio-revdel and R2 deletion following draftification. These, along with reversion of draftification (unless that itself was the result of an AfD), do not qualify an article for G4.

In any case, I nominated the article for deletion on notability grounds (Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Mohammed_Degereji), so if you still believe it should be deleted, you're welcome to participate in that discussion. Complex/Rational 12:41, 18 October 2022 (UTC)

On the New Pages tag it was written that the page was already deleted so I assumed it would automatically link the previous discussion FishandChipper 🐟🍟 12:45, 18 October 2022 (UTC)
Unfortunately, it doesn't do that by default, and "previously deleted" doesn't discriminate between different kinds of deletion (R2 after draftify, old CSD, old PROD, etc.). Even with Twinkle, it's necessary to manually add a link to the AfD. Another useful resource when assessing G4 candidates is the Wayback Machine, where you can sometimes find a copy of the deleted article to determine whether it's similar enough to meet the "substantially identical" part of G4. I hope this is helpful. Complex/Rational 13:57, 18 October 2022 (UTC)

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Calvin Richardson. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not use false edit summaries like the phrase "Unexplained content removal" here.Bilorv (talk) 21:45, 25 October 2022 (UTC)
