Your recent edits[edit]

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot 10:46, 12 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Is your your dad/uncle an ex-US Ranger or did you watch Black Hawk Down far too many times for your own good???[edit]

I invite you to read the discussion page about the battle of Mogadishu in 1993 in which 133 Somali militia (74 of them commando-trained) were killed and over 200 Somali civilians were killed although you would like to gloat over a ficticious number of 700 SNA militia killed and 1,000 wounded (not including thousands of civilians killed and wounded). I ought to remind you that I am a friend of a military historian and will persist in correcting this wikipedia page about the battle of mogadish in 1993 until truth prevails. -- — Preceding unsigned comment added by Firstcasualtyofwar (talkcontribs)

I always assume good faith in my fellow editors, I make no exception in your case. I do not have a problem with you editing the article as you see fit. Just for the record, I saw the movie, but I put my faith in Bowden's book, which I have read. Your being a military historian's friend has no bearing on your ability or expertise in editing Wikipedia articles. Just keep in mind that other editors will edit the article as they see fit. Cheers and happy editing! -- • Kurt Guirnela •Talk 02:41, 13 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
