Nacam F4[edit]

When you update the results, can you do it properly? RxxingAddict (talk) 11:23, 4 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I dont know how put colors on the numbers. Filiberto Jerezano (talk) 16:38, 4 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
And if you're not going to update results, at least do not let the wrong information published. Sjælefred Herm (talk) 18:35, 4 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I updating correct information. I WAS PRESENT IN THOSE RACES. This is not the first time my updates have been deleted.
The results are identical to those of the official page of the Copa Notiauto. What more official than that? Filiberto Jerezano (talk) 03:07, 5 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Copa Notiauto has not released the full data of the races in their Result section yet. However, just by looking at the results at the live timing (https://speedhive.mylaps.com/Events/2043788) or the report shared by Formula Scout (https://formulascout.com/juan-felipe-pedraza-crowned-nacam-f4-champion-with-a-round-to-go/98178), we can easily infer that there are some differences with the information provided by you - for example, Emil Abed being present or not for Round 5 Race 1. Kindly be aware that being present at an event does not constitute a valid source of information, every piece of data introduced must be available for consultation from other sources.
Therefore, I highly encourage you to either put the results (properly coloured, of course) as per the live timing or not put them at all until an additional source for the results is officially published. I won't be reverting your edits in the F4 NACAM article if all inconsistencies are corrected soon, but please act accordingly in order to present the information as it should be presented.
In the meantime, if you don't know how to properly introduce the result data, you may practice your editing skills in your Sandbox. Sjælefred Herm (talk) 10:34, 5 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I understand about the discrepancies in the information, but I put this context.
In Formula 4 Nacam anyone can race, the drivers usually share cars between practices, the teams share drivers and mechanics, the sanctions are given even days later.
Another example is the lack of consistency in the number of drivers per race. This happens because, as in the case of Abed, there are drivers who are present, but they just don't feel like racing that day.
And obviously it is not easy to reflect that in a "semi-official" table, especially when most things that happen in Mexico are worded and unofficial. Filiberto Jerezano (talk) 03:43, 7 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I would love for things in Formula 4 Nacam to be more professional, but for these reasons many drivers skip this category. Filiberto Jerezano (talk) 03:44, 7 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

It's not that hard to colour tue numbers in just look at the previous results and copy them, its not that hard. If you don't know how to do it properly just leave it and let someone who does do it. RxxingAddict (talk) 15:21, 7 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Dropped points rule in NACAM F4[edit]

Hello. Can you add the source/link for the dropped (discarded) points rule for NACAM F4? SandoLorris (talk) 15:43, 25 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

http://www.copanotiauto.com/static/wp/puntos2022/puntuacion.pdf here is the official table.
Drivers who do not have to apply the point drop rule are marked with an "OK"
https://twitter.com/copanotiauto/status/1571676649363771393?s=20&t=zPrupNN32i09ciObzdpkjA
here is the table with the rule already applied (in a matter of points). I know it's not "officially" in the documents, but this is because drivers can still change their minds about which race to drop.
To be honest I don't even know what race they're ruling out, but this is partly thanks to the option to change their mind´s in the last race. Filiberto Jerezano (talk) 03:55, 5 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
