Wouldn't be much point if it wasn't the current configuration. How could you break it otherwise if its quite a bit slower? And Formula 1.com's statistics are notoriously bad. --Falcadore (talk) 21:11, 27 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Engine power[edit]

and the fact that all F1 cars now use 2.4l V8 engines, which, despite still being very powerful (approx 800BHP), generally produce less power as opposed to the older V10 and V12 engines, especially the turbo-charged variants of the 1980s which produced well in excess of 1,000BHP. - The most powerful turbo engines the BMW and Hondas were an inline four cylinder and V6 respectively, not a V10 or V12. --Falcadore (talk) 21:24, 27 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
