Tamaskan Dog[edit]

Please read Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not: we aren't a provider of advice or warnings, a crystal ball of future events, nor an indiscriminate collection of info. Thanks, Steven Walling (talk) 12:13, 19 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

File copyright problem with File:Kenai.jpg[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Kenai.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 22:24, 1 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Image of the NCSU mascot dog[edit]

I see that you had previously uploaded an image of NCSU's mascot dog at File:Wave.jpg. Unfortunately, that title was already in use. I've reverted the image; if you want to re-upload it, please do so at a new title (e.g., File:Wave_NCSU_mascot.jpg) and please insert your information about when you took the image and how you intend to license it. —C.Fred (talk) 02:25, 29 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Survey[edit]

Hi Exhaustfumes!

I have put together a survey for female editors of Wikipedia (and related projects) in order to explore, in greater detail, women's experiences and roles within the Wikimedia movement. It'd be wonderful if you could participate!

It's an independent survey, done by me, as a fellow volunteer Wikimedian. It is not being done on behalf of the Wikimedia Foundation. I hope you'll participate!

Just click this link to participate in this survey, via Google!

Any questions or concerns, feel free to email me or stop by my user talk page. Also, feel free to share this any other female Wikimedians you may know. It is in English, but any language Wikimedia participants are encouraged to participate. I appreciate your contributions - to the survey and to Wikipedia! Thank you! Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
