Maratha[edit]

Hi, I have reverted your contribution at Maratha. I realise that you may not be aware of this but Wikipedia operates on the basis of consensus and among the many discussions at the India Wikiproject talk page you will find that consensus is not to refer to varna in the lead section or infoboxes of articles. This is because it generally causes far too many problems with edit wars etc and is in any event an outmoded concept. Sorry about this. - Sitush (talk) 14:17, 7 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The consensus is also not to use Indic scripts - please see User:Sitush/Common#Scripts. - Sitush (talk) 19:48, 7 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, that is enough from you. You cannot ignore consensus here. Please read the warning below and also note our three revert rule. - Sitush (talk) 08:43, 8 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The Wikipedia community has permitted administrators to impose discretionary sanctions on any editor who is active on any page about social groups, explicitly including caste associations and political parties, related to India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal. Discretionary sanctions can be used against an editor who repeatedly or seriously fails to adhere to the purpose of Wikipedia, any expected standards of behavior, or any normal editorial process. If you engage in further inappropriate behavior in this area, you may be placed under sanctions, which can include blocks, a revert limitation, or an article ban. The discussion leading to the imposition of these sanctions can be read here.

Please familiarise yourself with the information page at Wikipedia:General sanctions.

You are suspected of sockpuppetry, which means that someone suspects you of using multiple Wikipedia accounts for prohibited purposes. Please make yourself familiar with the notes for the suspect, then respond to the evidence here. Thank you. - Sitush (talk) 09:07, 8 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
