Exeter alums[edit]

That's the way it should be done. Having seen others simply remove everyone from these alum pages (for other schools), I see you've actually gone to the effort to check these folks against the list of grads. From one PEA alum to another, thank you. I have been trying to contribute to the article, and will continue to do so, time permitting. Enjoy your holidays and regards,MarmadukePercy (talk) 18:41, 11 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Many thanks for the holiday greeting. Thank you for keeping after that list. I'll try to keep an eye on it myself to ward off the celebutants. (If Paris Hilton turns up on it, we know we're in serious trouble. lol) Take care and best wishes,MarmadukePercy (talk) 18:36, 14 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

December 2008[edit]

Please do not introduce incorrect information into articles, as you did to List of Phillips Exeter Academy alumni. Your edits appear to be vandalism and have been reverted. If you believe the information you added was correct, please cite references or sources or discuss the changes on the article's talk page before making them again. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. Edward321 (talk) 14:18, 17 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

  • You are confused and don't know what you are talking about. I already explained that there is no haox on the Exeter alumni talk page. You are confused.Ex-men (talk) 15:16, 17 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The problem is that you cannot seem to provide a reliable source that this person is (1) an alum of the institution in question, or (2) notable for any of the claimed biographical information. I'll grant you that it may be a true statement, but Wikipedia requires reliable sources especially for situations where biographical information is involved. You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. If necessary, pursue dispute resolution. (ESkog)(Talk) 18:02, 17 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked[edit]

Based on your contributions, and the results of WP:Requests for checkuser/Case/Societyfinalclubs, I have blocked this account indefinitely, as a sockpuppet of User:Societyfinalclubs, User:McTrain, etc., returning again to do the same things. Outside editors interested in more information about this editor may want to look at User:Barneca/watch/societyfinalclubs, or ask me or User:Edward321 for more information. --barneca (talk) 19:39, 17 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
