Hi there. Thank you for your consideration. I can help on that. What do you practically need for the moment? Bests Aigest (talk) 08:05, 6 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Having trouble on the link you posted. Anyway ignoring trolling, one of the best sources on that is Selami Pulaha book here, but there are other sources too. I'll try to find them and create the article sketch than you can continue. Bests Aigest (talk) 06:54, 16 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Copyright violation[edit]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. While everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, one of your recent file uploads, such as your addition to Skanderbeg, had missing or false information regarding its source and copyright status. Please note that Wikipedia takes copyright and copyright infringement very seriously. Images and other media may only be uploaded and included if their copyright status meets the conditions stated in our image use policy, and if their provenance is clearly documented. If you have questions, feel free to ask at the copyright question page or on my talk page. I reverted your addition of copyrighted text at Skanderbeg. Please be more careful in future not to add copyrighted text to wikipedia. All the best.--Antidiskriminator (talk) 00:16, 29 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I advise you to revert yourself at Skanderbeg article. You copied text from work of Babinger almost word to word. That is not allowed. Please read Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. All the best.--Antidiskriminator (talk) 00:22, 29 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Copying from public domain materials requires proper attribution[edit]

You added material to Albanian resistance during World War II copied word-for-word from http://countrystudies.us/albania/30.htm. That's okay, since the source document is a product of the US Government. But you have to provide attribution. For PD sources, this can be done by adding the template {{PD-notice}} after your citation. Please do this in the future when re-using public domain content. All content needs to be written in your own words, or properly attributed. More info on this topic can be found at Wikipedia:Plagiarism. Any further copyright problems will result in a block, so please be more careful. -- Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 19:17, 1 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Off wiki behavior[edit]

Hi,

I noticed that on one off wiki website (link) somebody wrote a comment about me. This person acted as it was you. Do you know anything about it?--Antidiskriminator (talk) 14:15, 21 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I kindly remind you to please answer the above question.--Antidiskriminator (talk) 00:02, 28 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hello,

Sorry, this is the second time this is happening, several months ago someone used my name in Stomrfront.Org pretending to be a member of the forum, inciting hatred. This is not the first time my name is being used by someone else,I apologize. Euripides ψ (talk) 19:44, 28 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Changing citations[edit]

Hi,

I noticed that with this edit (diff) you:

  1. changed citation by removing the quote and
  2. changed the page number
  3. with explanation "adding referenced assertion"

I checked again the source and can confirm that the quote is authentic and that original page number (60) was also correct. I will restore the quote and page number. --Antidiskriminator (talk) 00:17, 28 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry,I did that on mistake. Euripides ψ (talk) 20:23, 28 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Skanderbeg[edit]

Hi,

I have just undid your bold addition of unnecessary detail of the battle predominantly based on outdated or unscholarly sources. Please look at Talk:Skanderbeg/GA2 which says that article is too long. It does not need additional unnecessary details which are within scope of Albanian–Venetian War, especially based on outdated sources like Franko Demetrio or unscholarly sources like Francione Genaro. --Antidiskriminator (talk) 20:31, 6 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Yet it does need a little detail about the Albanian-Venetian war.And why is it outdated? Why is it unnecessary?Just because you don't like it?I know you love patrolling the Skanderbeg article 24/7 for whatever ridiculous reason and notifying me for every edit I make.I believe the Battle of Drin is important information and btw Noli and Oliver Jens Schmmit are not outdated. Also why is a primary source outdated?Cause you don't like what is written there? So please give me a logical, not WP:JUSTDONTLIKEIT reason why the Battle of Drin shouldn't be mentioned. Euripides ψ (talk) 20:52, 6 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Skanderbeg II[edit]

Note that I did explain my edit in the edit summary. Please see categorization guideline if you need more information about categorization. Category:15th-century Albanian people is the most specific category in the tree of Category:History of Albania, therefore Skanderbeg should be categorized in Category:15th-century Albanian people and not in any of its (grand)parent categories. Copying within Wikipedia requires proper attribution[edit]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Kingdom of Albania (medieval) into Albanians. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. The attribution has been provided for this situation, but if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, please provide attribution for that duplication. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. — Diannaa (talk) 02:43, 2 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, you are possibly the only Albanian active here. I am from Lazarat and want to make its article a Good one. Could you please advise or better help me? By the way do you exchange emails?Lazarati (talk) 19:35, 9 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I enabled my email. You can visit my Userpage and email me. I had to ask you some questions.Lazarati (talk) 16:07, 10 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Well, first off the article requires expanding. The village was made famous due to recent incidents, therefor we have a lot of sourced information available. So that shouldn't be a problem. We could find more pictures to illustrate it.And the most important thing is to cite everything. We need to cite every possible assertion.

To be honest with you,I don't find much interest in this article and never really thought about it,but it would be nice to get to GA class.I will see if I have time for it,but my focus goes to the Skanderbeg and Albanians articles. Euripides ψ (talk) 20:19, 11 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

"I understand you as a Serb " ?[edit]

In this edit (diff) you wrote speculation about my ethnicity and attributed motives to me based on such speculation. That is violation of no personal attack wikipedia policy (WP:NPA). Please be so kind not to repeat such violation again. --Antidiskriminator (talk) 19:27, 15 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I'm sorry,I didn't know calling someone by their ethnicity was a personal attack. Is calling someone by their name also a personal attack? If that is the case, then sorry again. Is it a personal attack calling someone by their gender also a personal attack? Then sorry again. Euripides ψ (talk) 21:51, 15 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Although I politely asked you to please be so kind not to write speculations about my ethnicity, you repeated it in your mockery disguised as an apology ("...I didn't know calling someone by their ethnicity was a personal attack."). --Antidiskriminator (talk) 22:06, 15 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
  • Euripides, your non-apology apology is itself an insult and I will be more than happy to block for it if you persist. Thank you, Drmies (talk) 02:08, 16 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Skanderbeg is covered by discretionary sanctions under WP:ARBMAC[edit]

This message contains important information about an administrative situation on Wikipedia. It does not imply any misconduct regarding your own contributions to date.

Please carefully read this information:

The Arbitration Committee has authorised discretionary sanctions to be used for pages regarding the Balkans, a topic which you have edited. The Committee's decision is here.

Discretionary sanctions is a system of conduct regulation designed to minimize disruption to controversial topics. This means uninvolved administrators can impose sanctions for edits relating to the topic that do not adhere to the purpose of Wikipedia, our standards of behavior, or relevant policies. Administrators may impose sanctions such as editing restrictions, bans, or blocks. This message is to notify you sanctions are authorised for the topic you are editing. Before continuing to edit this topic, please familiarise yourself with the discretionary sanctions system. Don't hesitate to contact me or another editor if you have any questions.

Drawing conclusions from the ethnicity of other users is viewed very dimly here. If the mission of your Wikipedia editing is to promote the importance of Albania in various historical articles, you are risking sanctions. Thank you, EdJohnston (talk) 01:20, 16 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I became aware of your edits due to a thread here, which I assume was referring to you. Thanks, EdJohnston (talk) 02:41, 16 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not here to "promote the importance of Albania in various historical articles". I'm working specifically on that article so I can get it to a point where it can be promoted to Good Article class. Euripides ψ (talk) 19:35, 17 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

"I would never even think of contacting you for assistance"[edit]

With this edit (diff) you wrote Antidiskriminator, sorry but I would never even think of contacting you for assistance. as reply to my comment (diff) in which I politely offered you my help: Hi Euripides ψ, what kind of help you need? I am the most active member of wp Albania and I am willing to help. Feel free to ask me for help whenever you need help in articles within WP Albania scope.

I gently point that your comment might be seen as uncivil, snide, aggressive, rude and disrespectful. I want to move on without reporting your disruptive behavior, but I would appreciate if you could refrain from making such comments to me in future. Skanderberg's ancestry.[edit]

I noticed that you deleted my adding "Albanian people of Serbian descent" from Skanderberg's page. His mother, as I stated was considered to have probably been of Serbian origin, her wiki page states that. So why did you delete it? Are you reluctant to admit that Skanderberg may have been part-Serbian in descent?KVLG (talk) 00:50, 13 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

It's been discussed multiple times and it hasn't been proven a fact. So we don't add that in the article. Even registered Serbian wikipedians accept that so we leave it at that. Euripides ψ (talk) 14:40, 14 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Comment on article talkpage[edit]

Hi,

I noticed that you used heading to attack other user by naming them in the heading (diff). That is violation of WP:TALK which says:

**Never use headings to attack other users: While no personal attacks and assuming good faith apply everywhere at Wikipedia, using headings to attack other users by naming them in the heading is especially egregious, as it places their names prominently in the Table of Contents, and can thus enter that heading in the edit summary of the page's edit history.

Please be so kind to respect wikipedia behavioral guidelines and refrain from attacking other editors by naming them in the heading. All the best.--Antidiskriminator (talk) 17:07, 2 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Minor edits[edit]

Hi,

I noticed that you mark almost all of your edits as minor edits, even those which substantially change the meaning of the text. That is violation of Help:Minor edit. Please don't mark edits that change the meaning of the text as minor. All the best.--Antidiskriminator (talk) 06:30, 3 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Euripides ψ. I agree with Antidiskriminator on this issue. I hardly mark any of my edits as minor, and I suggest you do the same. "Minor edit" is intended to be used only for really tiny and uncontroversial edits. Some people with large watch-lists have chosen not to have minor edits shown in their watch-list feed, and hence will miss out on important changes if your edits are not correctly coded. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information on this topic. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 22:55, 12 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Europe 10,000 Challenge invite[edit]

Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Europe/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like Germany, Italy, the Benelux countries, Iberian Peninsula, Romania, Slovenia etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. If you would like to see masses of articles being improved for Europe and your specialist country like Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon, sign up today and once the challenge starts a contest can be organized. This is a way we can target every country of Europe, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant and also sign under any country sub challenge on the page that you might contribute to! Thank you. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 06:02, 6 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

You are invited to participate in the 50,000 Challenge, aiming for 50,000 article improvements and creations for articles relating to the United States. This effort began on November 1, 2016 and to reach our goal, we will need editors like you to participate, expand, and create. See more here!

March Madness 2017[edit]

G'day all, please be advised that throughout March 2017 the Military history Wikiproject is running its March Madness drive. This is a backlog drive that is focused on several key areas:

  • tagging and assessing articles that fall within the project's scope
  • updating the project's currently listed A-class articles to ensure their ongoing compliance with the listed criteria
  • creating articles that are listed as "requested" on the project's various task force pages or other lists of missing articles.

As with past Milhist drives, there are points awarded for working on articles in the targeted areas, with barnstars being awarded at the end for different levels of achievement.

The drive is open to all Wikipedians, not just members of the Military history project, although only work on articles that fall (broadly) within the military history scope will be considered eligible. More information can be found here for those that are interested, and members can sign up as participants at that page also.

The drive starts at 00:01 UTC on 1 March and runs until 23:59 UTC on 31 March 2017, so please sign up now.

2017 Military Historian of the Year and Newcomer of the Year nominations and voting[edit]

As we approach the end of the year, the Military History project is looking to recognise editors who have made a real difference. Each year we do this by bestowing two awards: the Military Historian of the Year and the Military History Newcomer of the Year. The co-ordinators invite all project members to get involved by nominating any editor they feel merits recognition for their contributions to the project. "Military history" is one of the most important subjects when speak of sum of all human knowledge. To support contributors interested in the area over various language Wikipedias, we intend to form a user group. It also provides a platform to share the best practices between military historians, and various military related projects on Wikipedias. An initial discussion was has been done between the coordinators and members of WikiProject Military History on English Wikipedia. Now this discussion has been taken to Meta-Wiki. Contributors intrested in the area of military history are requested to share their feedback and give suggestions at Talk:Discussion to incubate a user group for Wikipedia Military Historians.

April 2018 Milhist Backlog Drive[edit]

G'day all, please be advised that throughout April 2018 the Military history Wikiproject is running its annual backlog elimination drive. This will focus on several key areas:

  • tagging and assessing articles that fall within the project's scope
  • adding or improving listed resources on Milhist's task force pages
  • updating the open tasks template on Milhist's task force pages
  • creating articles that are listed as "requested" on the project's various lists of missing articles.

As with past Milhist drives, there are points awarded for working on articles in the targeted areas, with barnstars being awarded at the end for different levels of achievement.

The drive is open to all Wikipedians, not just members of the Military history project, although only work on articles that fall (broadly) within the scope of military history will be considered eligible. This year, the Military history project would like to extend a specific welcome to members of Wikipedia:WikiProject Women in Red, and we would like to encourage all participants to consider working on helping to improve our coverage of women in the military. This is not the sole focus of the edit-a-thon, though, and there are aspects that hopefully will appeal to pretty much everyone.

The drive starts at 00:01 UTC on 1 April and runs until 23:59 UTC on 30 April 2018. Those interested in participating can sign up here.
