Hi Brizton,

No idea. But I usually check either IATA at https://www.iatatravelcentre.com/# or United Airlines TIMATIC page https://www.united.com/web/en-us/apps/vendors/default.aspx?i=TIMATIC&POS=US

The decision of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ecuador was taken by an Albanian journalist [2] Brizton (talk) 23:40, 19 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you! You are right. Seems Ecuador haven't posted it to IATA yet but the decision has been made. I reverted back to your version. Eu6 (talk) 00:19, 20 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Visa requirements for Albanian citizens[edit]

Hi, @Eu6

First, regarding Kazakhstan, I got the information from the website of the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs of Albania, which can have this information diplomatically, and I don't know why it is not on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan updated as information! See the link:https://punetejashtme.gov.al/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/Regjimi-i-vizave-p%C3%ABr-shtetasit-shqiptar%C3%AB-update-17.03.2023.pdf Information for Albanian Citizens

Secondly, regarding Oman, the information is based on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Oman. see the link: https://fm.gov.om/visitors/entry-visas/ Entry visa Oman

Visa Requirements for Albanian citizens[edit]

Hi, Eu6

I have no interest to add or remove country in the Visa requirements for Albanian citizens page for fun! I want Albanian citizens and foreigners to be informed about the latest changes in the field of visa applications. Modestly. If you want my opinion, I would like to move to the USA, Canada, Japan, etc. without visas, but this is still not possible.

Regarding the countries: first: Ecuador has established online visas for Albanians and has removed them from the visa-free list. Armenia has a visa-free regime with Albania for 180 days and no e-visa.

Secondly, India, Azerbaijan, Angola, Lesotho, Nigeria, Uzbekistan have a regime with the e-visa service for Albanians citizens. For this you can search at passportindex.org where you can find the online service for visas linked for each country.

Third, Kazakhstan, Saint Kitts and Nevis, United Arab Emirates have removed visas for Albanian citizens. You can find information about this on the website of the Foreign Affairs Ministries of these countries.

Fourthly, Saudi Arabia has entered the list of countries for obtaining an online visa for Albanian citizens. Information from the Saudi Foreign Ministry.

All this is information that has been updated for some time and citizens come and go without problems. That's why I say that the information given by the Henley Index should be taken with a reservations because it is not updated on time and has inaccurate information.

Have a nice day

Brizton (talk) 16:35, 14 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Brizton. Totally agree with you that individual governments have certain rules not captured yet in TIMATIC or Henley.
I personally don't really about Henley as it's anyway just a for-profit company. It doesn't really matter if a country is listed there or not.
TIMATIC, however, is a bit a more official. It's an IATA database. You cannot board an airplane to a 3rd country without a visa at hand if TIMATIC says a visa is required (even if the official government sources of that 3rd country say no visa is required).
TIMATIC is exclusively used by airlines to issue a boarding pass!
For me the reason I thought your addition was inappropriate was just the wording that seemed like an opinion to an outside reader instead of a fact. So it would be more appropriate if we added the sentence as:
"According to the individual countries official sources as listed in the table below, Albanian citizens can travel to 122 countries without a visa, or with a visa on arrival or eTA/eVisa." Eu6 (talk) 18:41, 14 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
