Politic-Ed[edit]

Hi EtaPravda, I'm ViscountVismut, I'm the starter of the the Politic-Ed page. I noticed that you changed the type of site, I have further changed the type of site to fit what is said in the first paragraph. If you wish to revert it, please do so, but could you tell me your reasoning?--ViscountVismut (talk) 17:47, 26 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Viscount, I have no issue with the update. In fact, I should thank you! Your article gave me a great idea to write about Politic-Ed's sister publication International Aviation HQ please take a look and see if you can improve it (if you have any familiarity with it!) Thanks in advance!--EtaPravda (talk) 19:10, 26 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Pravda (can I call you that?) I have taken a look at it. The logo is missing, do you happen to know why that is?--ViscountVismut (talk) 19:14, 26 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on International Aviation HQ requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company, corporation or organization that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. International Aviation HQ moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, International Aviation HQ, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Hope you're happy. --EtaPravda (talk) 19:41, 26 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I saw you removed the speedy and added the draft tag so I took that as you did want time to improve in draft. Note that the whois.com refs just show the website is registered, not even that it existed. What is required for all new articles on Wikipedia have to show they are notable (See WP:N) which in most cases requires significant coverage in multiple independent (WP:INDY) reliable sources (WP:RS). Now it's in draft you can take your time to improve with less risk of deletion. All the best, keep safe KylieTastic (talk) 19:42, 26 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, how many do I need? So we don't have this issue, how many do I need?--EtaPravda (talk) 19:44, 26 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • It's not really about how many, in fact you can easily have too many trivial sources. There are two parts to sourcing: firstly to show "notability" (see WP:N, or WP:ORG for organisations) which in the Wikipedia way means others have noticed the topic, no a judgement if it's notable in a more general sense; the second is to have enough sources to verify the the content. Normally though what we look for is significant coverage, rather than just passing mentions, in multiple (normally 3+) independent reliable sources. Hope that helps explain, all the best KylieTastic (talk) 19:56, 26 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to blank out or remove portions of page content, templates, or other materials from Wikipedia without adequate explanation, as you did at Politic-Ed, you may be blocked from editing. Hello, EtaPravda. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "International Aviation HQ".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia! UnitedStatesian (talk) 01:12, 30 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
