Motivation?[edit]

I see the purpose of this user script is to get words highlighted while they are edited in order to show how they have persisted through the revision history of the article. But I don't see why? What would you use this knowledge for? —Kri (talk) 21:27, 25 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

That's a good question. My research (10.1145/1641309.1641332) has shown that editors -- especially newcomers -- sometimes get in trouble when they edit established content in articles. I built HAPPI to make this property salient within the edit interface. This fact should be more explicit in the documentation.
