Your contributed article, Joseph Chipango Kalimbwe[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, Joseph Chipango Kalimbwe. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – Joseph Kalimbwe. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Joseph Kalimbwe. If you have new information to add, you might want to discuss it at the article's talk page.

If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. — pythoncoder  (talk | contribs) 21:11, 10 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Please enter always an URL, if you use "cite web"[edit]

Please enter always an URL (i.e. a web link), if you use "cite web". You should copy and paste the complete template including the curly brackets:

{{cite web |url= |title= |last= |first= |date= |website= |publisher= |access-date= |quote=}}

Otherwise your references will not be displayed correctly, and thus your articles look unprofessional.

Sockpuppet investigation[edit]

Hi. An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Ephraim Kagwa, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community.

Unblock User Request[edit]

I was blocked from editing and my indefinite block passed a day ago but still I have not been unblocked. I do fully understand the reasons for it and wish to make meaningful contributions. I submitted a ticket for unlock but was referred here to my talk.

Can any admin unblock me. Ephraim Kagwa (talk) 23:19, 14 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • You are blocked for an indefinite period for abuse of multiple accounts. There is no expiry date and you will remain blocked until you explain the reasons for your block and convince the reviewing admin it would benefit Wikipedia to remove the block. You will need to use the unblock template noted in your block message above. --Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 23:24, 14 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Unblock User Request[edit]

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Ephraim Kagwa (block logactive blocksglobal blockscontribsdeleted contribsfilter logcreation logchange block settingsunblockcheckuser (log))

Request reason:

I wish to have my user account unblocked because I do wish to make meaningful contributions to Wikipedia and acknowledge my block as having been due to me having created account. I feel blocking me entirely for the whole process would be an unjustice since I am learning the does and don'ts of Wikipedia which I will keep. Furthermore, I want to be unblocked and be able to give substantial articles and this time submit as drafts before opting for publication as I feel there is much relevance I can still bring towards the growth and expansion of WikipediaEphraim Kagwa (talk) 23:38, 14 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that

  • the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
  • the block is no longer necessary because you
    1. understand what you have been blocked for,
    2. will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
    3. will make useful contributions instead.

Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information. SQLQuery me! 02:34, 15 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Clarified Unblock request[edit]

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Ephraim Kagwa (block logactive blocksglobal blockscontribsdeleted contribsfilter logcreation logchange block settingsunblockcheckuser (log))

Request reason:

I wish to resubmit my unblock request for these reasons 1. I will not any attempts to use any other account besides this one to make any edits to Wikipedia 2. I submit that the previous user accounts be deleted 3. I want to continue making changes and learning the rules and guidelines of Wikipedia and expand my knowledge of the edits 4. I senserely apologies for the mistake made and will not try to make edits and/or disruptive. 5. I will make draft submissions for editor reviews to all articles I wish to make Ephraim Kagwa (talk) 07:05, 15 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

Reviewing your repeated requests, it's clear to me that you currently do not seem to have with competence to edit Wikipedia. What I can recommend is to walk away completely from Wikipedia for at least 6 months, if not more. Do not edit on ANY account, no IP, no alternative account. If you can do that, request an unblock then, this might be seen more positively. Repeatedly posting unblock requests every few hours is not going to lead you to being unblocked, and in fact may be seen as disruptive. RickinBaltimore (talk) 12:42, 19 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

3rd Unblock Submission[edit]

Hello I am requesting to be unblocked from participating in Wikipedia. I have already submitted 3 unblock requests and in each explained why I want to be unblocked. Each admin who has attended to those has asked me to give reasons and I have done so.

I feel it's unfair that despite giving my explanations, other administrators come and ask that I give more reasons and then when I do so, they go silent and don't respond to me. Ephraim Kagwa (talk) 17:06, 15 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

If an article was deleted by an administrator, it should not be addedd again and certainly not duplicated. This is called vandalism, i.e. it is seen as not helpful for the project. Probably, the administrators are not convinced yet that you will avoid vandalism in future. Maybe you should tell them that you promise to study the rules and obay them. --NearEMPTiness (talk) 20:40, 15 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I once again save another request for unblock permission. I did not intend on make another submission but seeing as I am receiving different texts, I fell compelled.

Request reason:

I will fully read through Wikipedia rules and regulations and will never create any other account besides this one. I also promise never to vandalise anything and always make draft submissions should I see need to make it. I really do feel, I admins form part of a select few tasked to provide help whenever nessessary and I make this submission once again, hoping my wish to be unblocked and given another chance will be granted considering my unconditional efforts in acknowledging my wrongs and other submisions i made to get unblocked. I would like to be unlocked in order that I can make contributions to Wikipedia following the learned lessons. Can you kindly give me another chance as I promised genuinely never to repeat my mistake. Hoping for assistanceEphraim Kagwa (talk) 22:28, 15 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
