Edits to User:MikutronixX3535[edit]

Hi Elephant2019. I'm a little curious as to why you're editing the user page of MikutronixX3535. Generally, editors don't edit the user page of another editor, but when they do it's usually for a good policy or guideline based reason like here or here. Your edits, however, seem to be adding content to the page as if you're working on a draft for a new article or an improvement to an existing article. Is there some connection be you and MikutronixX3535? -- Marchjuly (talk) 04:59, 25 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi again Elephant2019. You haven't clarified why you continue to edit User:MikutronixX3535 or whether you have any connection to that account. The content on User:MikutronixX3535 was moved to User:MikutronixX3535/sandbox by an editor named JJMC89 because a user sandbox more appropriate than a user page for working on drafts, article improvements, test edits, etc. User pages need to comply with Wikipedia:User pages and what you're doing on MikutronixX3535's user page is starting to look more and more like a violation of Wikipedia:User pages#What may I not have in my user pages? and Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not#Wikipedia is not a blog, web hosting service, social networking service, or memorial site even more so since it's not your user page you're editing. If you continue to do such things without at least trying to explain why, then not only is MikutronixX3535's user page likely going to be tagged for deletion per Wikipedia:Criteria for speedy deletion#U5. Blatant misuse of Wikipedia as a web host, but also you're editing contributions may more closely examined by an administrator. -- Marchjuly (talk) 22:27, 9 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Image without license[edit]

Unspecified source/license for File:Large Egg Error.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Large Egg Error.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time after the next seven days. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}} (to release all rights), {{self|CC-by-sa-3.0|GFDL}} (to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by MifterBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. NOTE: Once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. --MifterBot (TalkContribsOwner) 13:01, 4 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:Large Egg Error.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the file appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use it — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. You've uploaded this file twice before to Wikipedia and once to Commons as File:LargeEggError.jpg, and it has been deleted each time by three different administrators as a copyright violation. It was deleted from Commons by Túrelio on November 4, so you uploaded it to Wikipedia. It was then deleted from Wikipedia by Jimfbleak also on November 4, so you uploaded it again only to be deleted for that same reason by RHaworth on November 10. If you're not sure why the file keeps being deleted, then you should ask for assistance at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Your continuous editing of another's user page is starting to become an issue as explained above in #Edits to User:MikutronixX3535, but there is pretty much zero tolerance for repeated copyright violations. You cannot upload any photos/images that you don't hold copyright ownership over to Wikipedia under a free license without the copyright holder giving their explicit consent that it's OK for you to do so. It's OK to make a mistake like this once, maybe even twice; continuing to do so, however, is likely going to lead to an administrator stepping in and taking action to prevent any further disruption. -- Marchjuly (talk) 22:45, 9 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Marchjuly, I'm just picking up on the ping above. Elephant2019, you seem to be making far too many edits in violation of our rules, I've just deleted two more pages as Not web host. If you don't understand why you are having problems, ask. Otherwise it will be assumed that you are not here to contribute to the encyclopaedia, and you will be blocked on that basis. I'll follow this with a formal warning. Jimfbleak - talk to me? 07:34, 10 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

The One Billion Survivor moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, The One Billion Survivor, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Emir of Wikipedia (talk) 16:34, 15 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there, I'm HasteurBot. I just wanted to let you know that Draft:The One Billion Survivor, a page you created, has not been edited in 5 months. The Articles for Creation space is not an indefinite storage location for content that is not appropriate for articlespace.

If your submission is not edited soon, it could be nominated for deletion. If you would like to attempt to save it, you will need to improve it.

You may request Userfication of the content if it meets requirements.

If the deletion has already occured, instructions on how you may be able to retrieve it are available at WP:REFUND/G13.

Thank you for your attention. HasteurBot (talk) 01:33, 20 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Elephant2019. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "The One Billion Survivor".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia! Lapablo (talk) 21:37, 20 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Doniago. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Shrek (franchise), but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. DonIago (talk) 16:23, 19 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at Shrek (franchise), without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. I fail to see how a fake trailer is in any way notable enough for inclusion. If you feel otherwise, please discuss at the article's Talk page, or provide at least one source that discussed it. DonIago (talk) 20:36, 26 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
