Spelling changes

I don't know if you knew, but your spelling changes to Victoria Cross were to a direct quote from 1856. As such it was written in Old English and should not be changed for spelling corrections. The {{lang}} template around the quotes highlights the fact that it is in Old English. Just to let you know. Thanks. Woodym555 07:36, 1 October 2007 (UTC)

Top Model

Sorry it took so long but I was trying to figure out wikipedia. My uncle was a camerman for the show and he said that he's sure of the orders for the top 6 and above and the bottom 2s for the rest of them, and he's pretty sure about the rest of the orders. Hey i dont know how to make a link on the ANTM discussion...so i'll bring it here in Jaslene Gonzalez's biography it says that she weighs 92 pounds...but then in antm general statistics (not in cycle 8...like in all the cycles) she isnt stated as the skinnier one..melrose is there with 107 lbs...but if that is right then jaslene's bio is wrong? and in cycle 8's statistics too! it says Lightest contestant: Jaslene Gonzalez, 110 lb (50 kg) ...so which one of the two is wrong? thanks Lucia (talk) 10:55, 27 November 2007 (UTC)

I honestly have no idea which one is correct, since neither is sourced. Though I think it's pretty unlikely that she's 92 pounds. That would give her a BMI of about 14, which is not just skinny, but dangerously underweight. I think at that weight she'd literally be starving to death. However, if you make an article that says nothing more than "this article needs to be made" then it will most likely be deleted. Removal of {{hangon}} on CardinalDan

Please don't remove {{hangon}} templates placed on speedyable pages. If the page cleary should be deleted, as CardinalDan was, an admin will delete it despite the hangon tag. If it's not that clear, the author has the right to appeal the deletion. Od Mishehu 08:48, 16 December 2007 (UTC)

Contribution in the devloppment of the haitian creole wiktionary

Hi,

I'm admin in Haitian creole wikipedia and wikisource. I'm continuing the devlopment of the future haitian creole wiktionary. I'd like it to be a place where all questions of vocabulary could be solve quickly. Many of us are looking for a correct definition, vocabulary,sentence, or a large source of information concerning a word but remain disappointed due to lack of this information.

I'd like to invite you to contribute to the devlopment of this project. It's currently under aproval because we need contributors for editing the beta version (at http://incubator.wikimedia.org/wiki/wt/ht ). The discussions with the admins are at http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Requests_for_new_languages/Wiktionary_Haitian_Creole.

your first contribution could be very short, that's not a problem (for instance "Frans se yon peyi" will be sufficient for the first definition for France)
